Seriously? a p1 is a 3 door UK classic with a few extra trinkets.

22B is an icon, like the Audi Quattro SWB and RS200 and these fetch a lot more money but production numbers are similar.

If I was given a P1 i'd sell it, buy a type R and keep the change.

Is the 22b really an icon??? In the Subaru circles yes, but I would imagine most non impreza fans have ever heard of one.

 

22b has always been overpriced. Would rather have a csl, a much better car

 

I have never had a 22B before ,but have to agree with MattyB1983 the 22B has just entered an era of classiness and is undoubtedly a classic in the world of rallying.
The 22B has it's place amongst the likes of the Audi Quattro and rs200 etc.

So many contributing factors ,but mainly due to the Colin McRae and Subaru partnership that dominated the sport in the 90's.

ps I would have a 22b over a P1 allday long however I have to say the P1 is the best looking classic without a doubt. I remember when it come out I based my Graphics course work on the P1 and can remember my teacher asking me what it was.

yeah i know but im not saying i think its a better car ! im saying its a " better looking car " because of the colour ,wheels body kit . i like the 22b but its not a looker imo the front bumpers horrid for a start , although i do like the bonnet vents .

That 22b is just around the corner from my house.
To be honest lads the price of any car up here in Aberdeen is a min of 5k over the price of any other place in the country, it's all due to the oil industry and the money folk get payed here your average 25 year old offshore here is on 50k a year min with money to burn..

 

Post is spot on tbh. Price of most cars up here compaired to further down south is stupid.
