I loved a film called "Bernard and the genie" when I was a kid, I haven't heard or seen anything about this film for years, or ever met anyone else that has seen it either.

It had Lenny Henry and Rowan Atkinson in it.

Santa Clause - the movie! EPIC Christmas film!!

Also one that goes under the radar, but another favourite of mine, One Magic Christmas. A great film.

Also I love Muppets Christmas Carol and National Lampoons. A recent one I enjoyed (last year I think) was Christmas with the Kranks.

Apparently, Ed ***** said the other day that he cries during 'Antiques Roadshow' and 'The Sound Of Music' (which is one of his fave films). I was teasing you.

Btw, I love all three of your choices as well.

Depends on the age of your children.

A couple of really old classics were "Bambi" and "Lassie come home" which are ideal for very young children and even the wife: if you can still find them.

I know!

I have no memories of any Christmas films from my childhood because we didn't do Christmas (like we do here) over there. However, my children (when they were little) here thoroughly enjoyed watching classics like Mary Poppins etc. over Christmas here. Snowman was their favourite most film of the season. I, along with my my little darlings, loved this song:
