The Israeli's always used to be very good at pulling a surprise attack to destroy any kind of threatening devices from the air.
They have done it in the past.

Is the popular support with the current leadership or being supressed and wanting a revolution? if the current leadership has the popular support then the current bunch, even if they are ****wits, should be left in power.
That said iran + nukes = path to destruction and there returned use.

Could they actually get a nuke all the way to us though?
And if they could how would we retaliate?
Personally i think the next big thing will be the west vs islam in general. Not just us against iraq, or iran, it will be the lot.
If iran get closer, or suspected to be closer, to having nuclear weapons, then israel will be pooping it so will either ask us for help, or just defend themselves anyway. And if they defended by invading or fighting back against iran then all of the muslim countries would join in. Then the west would blatantly join.
The only thing that causes real worry in my book is what do the far east do?!?
And if they could how would we retaliate?

I'm sure if Mr thingy who you quoted knew of the historical differences between the Iranians and the rest of the Arabs then he may be thinking slightly differently.
Anyway I hope it don't kick off.
