It looks like the weekend and into next week, is going to be very cold. There is a hint of a very cold Northerly/North easterly digging it's heels in next week. 15- upper air temps,that should fire some very heavy Snow into Eastern areas.

We're now being told snow around Nottingham starting approximately 3pm.... I'm kind of glad I fitted the CX tyres last night. Could be a fun ride home.

Excellent. Coming to Nottingham this evening as we have a squash match at Trent Bridge. Good old Continental winter tyres on the BMW

Hmmmm Netweather currently saying that there's a good chance of snow starting in Swindon tonight, before midnight, and not stopping til around 6pm tomorrow!

Should be fun going to the Wyedean then...

Is this new lot missing the South East this time? The local BBC forecast says it will but they have always been useless.

Fog has gulped my village for tonight. After landing back somehow, I disembarked into such heavy fog that I couldn't even find myself in it! I followed my fat cat's meowing to get to my house door. All good now with a cup of tea inside, phew!

Just watched BBC London weather after the 10pm news and they said the snow will be to the west of London but its been snowing in Essex for the last 2 hours

they cant even report what is happening!
