Don't get too excited chaps - probably be more like a heavy frost than snow!

Met Office have now issued a warning for Heavy Snow in Northern Scotland. The cold spell is nailed on now...Northern Ireland should also get some action probably Thursday/ Friday...

Notts Snow will probably be limited to the Higher ground.

Southern Softies....Put your Shorts back on...Probs won't reach that far.

Not Sure yet...Probably over the moors...Some of the models are still down playing this. What looks like happening is the Wishbone effect. The Cold will really kick in Sunday/ Monday in Scotland...Slowly working down to the Midlands, by Midweek. It wont be very cold, just the uppers will be -5 to -10. Thats good enough by Friday to have widespread snowfall East and West coast.

Remember The Sea is still warm, that will result in alot of Precip..So if Snow is forcast the showers will be heavy.

I checked North Wales just a minute ago on line. Its supposed to be mostly raining for next 4 days, with some serious brrrrrrr....... on Tuesday night. They didn't say what happens after that. They should guess by tomorrow and put it up.

I didn't check Mid and South Wales.

Tony

Heavy frost on Friday and really wild winds all weekend.
Am expecting the fence to go (as usual) but it's still hanging in there

Freezing here, too. Nature has kicked me into eating more than I need to eat; for the winter. Going to make egg and crispy bacon sandwich now. Nothing is better than eating egg n' bacon sandwich with a cup of tea while sitting in your warm house, and talking cr@p on internet.

I was pretty much the fastest thing on the roads and in a couple of cases the ONLY thing moving on the roads.

I've not bothered with Ice Spikers as I've concluded that if the roads need Ice tyres the motorised stuff is going to be way more dangerous than the road itself, and I'll stay in bed thankyouverymuch
Sensible thinking!

My God. That has rung warning bells for me.

I shall buy some grit tomz. You never know if the trouble arrives here much earlier than predicted by our pigs flyer weather forecasters from Met office etc.
