All I can say is that Luke is in contact with me via messages and on the phone,I chatted to him today at length,whilst I don't believe his crap for one moment I'm very positive that shaid and other people Luke has scammed WILL get the money back owed to them. I've told shaid the score which I'm not going to broadcast on here,but as I say we will all get our money back. As for the ones saying we were stupid for paying people we may well of been,but FFS aren't we all a small family here loving our cars ?? For the others suggesting we are all mouth and no trousers,I'm certainly not !!!!
On a side note, if nothing else, i've learnt a lesson not to be so trusting. In saying that, it's not like no-one had ever heard of this guy on scoobynet. He had a high post count and friends on his profile page which made me think that he was pretty safe.

Housing benefit is bound to be claimed by one of them & the council may be unaware of the other living there. Alternatively the council will take a dim view of her bank statements ( & they can access them quite easily without permission) & deposits being paid in. There is the beginnings of a business or at least undeclared income.
They are very hot on investigation in the current climate.

No, Scoobynet hero's who post on threads that have nothing to do with them but feel they know better than everyone else.

That is what I am saying.
It was in fact my self that posted a suggestion that the mods should suspend the guys account pending further investigation, to protect other users.
An hour later, that is exactly what happened.
So stick your unfounded and 'big-man' comments up your backside.
I hope the people get their money back.
But if this thread proves anything, it is that sending cash direct to somebodies account that you have never met, is NEVER a good idea.
People, please learn from it.

Hamster and some others had a little campaign about him a few months back for being a trader and not paying for trading advertisements (he is a registered trader now) and some issues with items not getting despatched. I have had a few items off of Darren so far, and the only problem item was some brakes that the pistons were siezed into, however, they were under market price, so get what you pay for I believe.
In my experience he has been sound with every other item, and I just bought some more cosmetic parts from him this weekend.

Yes, honestly. You get paid £500 for correctly informing the department of benefit fraud. Guess it's the best way to deploy a 'mole' as who sees you more than the neighbours? I can't imagine they deal too harshly with people 'trying it on' as it could genuinely be a mistake on their behalf and the last thing they'd want to do is deter people from coming forward

we went up north sun dec 4th, contacted sonic he said he was busy with his kiddys birthday party, he called later that day to see if we were still available, but we were tied up with family in lowton st lukes.
if sonic does have a cash flow problem ,why doesnt he just send the parts on .

I hate to agree with you,but you are 100% right,the little **** said they were sent,but the tracking number was one they used to scam people all over the WORLD (as googled it) she even swore on her kids lives she had sent them....I gave him till today,and his lastest message this morning was to F off,and do one...At that I lost the plott !! Anyway I don't need to worry nor want my money,Hamster and I went to Brum this afternoon and got brakes/discs for £100 off Deano,so I am sorted,I will say this though,I have met some low people in my time,he is a scum bag and hope he gets more what is/was coming to him
