Right I'll probs ly get flamed for this but here goes.
So it looks like Luke is either on mars or in whatever place or simply not responding. I don't get how he is scamming people but others (like me) had no issue at all, ie the wheels I bought off him.
I get the frustration thrown at him and if indeed he has scammed anyone and been dishonest than the authorities should do their job. But some of the posts on here, particularly Jimmy are borderline harassment. He's even dragging up old threads to slur his mrs. She's pregnant FFS, I met her when buying said wheels so know this. All these harassing comments are doing is making certain members look just as bad. What's it gonna achieve as Luke could simply use them in a counter case for harassment regardless of the legalities facing him. Here's an idea; give it a rest, his account is under investigation and the police are investigating him too.
Shaid has gone about things the right way, others, particularly Jimmy (who's introduction to Scoobynet was not exactly smooth shall we say) are just posting, spoiling for a fight and trying to shît stir. Have you thought these actions may actually damage your case or are you too stupid to twig on.
I've said it before, I'm not defending Luke and I am on the fence trying to take a fair view of both parties (been scammed before myself years ago). So give it a rest, stop posting tripe for the sake of it. If you wanna go visit him, do it, don't slur his mrs on here or his personal life - it doesn't make you look hard or clever, just a bit of a ****.
To those who have been 'scammed' (remember two sides to every story), best of luck and I hope the authorities help you in your cases. To those simply on the bandwagon, let it take its course, as I think enough people now know he's under investigation.

Same here but some people don't know when to give it a rest Tom. It's not helping anyone. I hope all and sundry get the goods or money back but sometimes it almost looks as though someone would rather the fight than the goods, you follow my drift?

COB, if his mrs is in on it which there is a highly probable chance there is (judging by the communications Jimmy has been having with her) then it is in everyones interests that it should be known. Furthermore i don't really appreciate it when Luke tells Mr Jimmy blatant lies about this, claims he's refunded monies yet won't provide any proof (simple print screen) or even confirm the account number he apparently sent the money to!
You can sit on the fence as much as you like and indeed there are two sides of every story but as i mentioned before everyone is nice when recieving money and dodgy scamming types are usually those that seem very trustworthy.

If you're daft enough to transfer £1100 to some snetters account on a "promise" then you've only yourself to blame. Use all legal routes to recover your money, arranging a "meet" is just pathetic and if anything makes you worse than him by a long shot.

The 'meet' idea was just a passing joke though okay.

I don't give a flying F about the money,it's the fact that he has had one over on me,that's what gets my goat,I really thought I could see through people like that ! How I am feeling can't compare to Shaid...He suckered me right in and it makes me feel better venting my spline on here,as I said last night I would NOT condole anyone causing problems for Emma,Luke is a different matter, one day he will con the wrong person and end up propping up a motorway bridge somewhere,I/we are small fry,one day he will go to far with the wrong person, then it will be curtains for him ! Yes agree 100% we should all go down the legal route, but in my case for 130 quid is it worth all the hassle meeting Police etc, that's what he is banking on I guess.

being pregnant is not an excuse to steal money.

Brian mate she is in it up to her neck, pregnant or not, she is the one who has the money, and it's not his fault according to her, so she's the one who has stole it then by her own admission.
They are a pair of con artists...

Agreed, no need for the Scoobynet warriors to get involved but if she has done wrong, she should also face what is coming to her.

I agree, there is even the possibility that this is all pre-meditated and the reason why her bank details were given is because of the fact that she is a woman and pregnant and therefore would not be likely to bear as much blame as him due to people feeling sorry for her. I don't for one minute think they've broken up either, and evidence would suggest that they've been doing this for some time on other forums.

This thread should have ended posts ago with all parties passing on information to the Police. Talking about meets and false promises of visits is childish at best.
As I said earlier though, if you actually want your money you need to go and get it BUT you don't need to announce it to the world. The Police will do their usual mediocre investigations but it won't help in the return of the money in the immediate future, if at all.

If you dont spend 20 minutes giving the police the info they require then he wins, yeah you may never see your money again but it's important that every one scammed by this guy contacts the police irrespective of the amounts involved, don't let him off easily just because you cant be arsed, there is a principle here afterall.
Hope you all get your monies back however small or large the amount is, there is no place for people like this on the forum or in society.

The more people that complain to the police, the more likely they'll pull their figure out.
edit: Looks like you don't even need to visit them; I've been digging on plod's website (http://www.met.police.uk/fraudalert/reporting_fraud.htm) and been pointed to this: http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/report_fraud
You can report it on line or via phone.

Was this car purchased by him?

seems to me he's used your cash to buy it if he has. Maybe a good idea to ask the seller if he has made contact/paid?
Also contact damotypeR to see if he has perhaps heard from him? Just a suggestion.
