Lol!!

I won't be wearing a wedding dress as such. It will be silver or white (maybe) and it won't be long.

Fair play to you for doing your own, we were lucky because I have a client that is a big printers and they did the whole lot for work in lieu. Would have cost upwards of £500-600 if we had paid out ourselves

Lol!

We do have a friend who owns a printing company, the ones he did for his wedding were lovely.
But I just fancied having a pop myself.

Excellent. And make sure my invite's one of his and not these silly Blue Peter efforts of which people seem so fond!

Not all of us have money to burn, like you seem to.

Not all of us want or could justify spending silly amounts of money on a card that is basically saying, 'would you like to come to our wedding?'

I can think of much better things to spend my money on, especially when I have two children.
It's all about priorities. Mine are obviously totally different to yours.

If you think spending loads of cash on something makes it seem better simply for it's cash value, more fool you.

Hysteria, anyone can get printed cards done, nothing so special about them. Making cards with bare hands has a personal touch, which makes it special.

So you are only inviting 11 people? small occasion then....

Personally I find them a little plain (I am a bloke so its probably about right lol) but it is down to each persons taste but well done for trying anyway

11?

No, 74 (so far) maybe I only made 11 that day, as they are time consuming.

I know they won't be to everyones taste, and I appreciate all comments, so thank you. I imagine some people would like them all shiny and bling bling, we all have different tastes, which is good. The world would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things.

I think they look great and they look very professional I wouldn't be disappointed if I'd bought those let alone received one!

Nice work and it feels better than shelling out yet more money and it's more personal

Thanks everyone.

I just need to write the insert now, will probably keep it simple. Non of this 'you are cordially invited'. I know for some people it's perfect, but it's a bit formal for us.
