No Roads Policing Unit, I guessed with you having an advanced ticket that might be what you did (or ARV!)
If your IMU is what we have they don't leave the nick, guess it means something different! IMU for us is Incident Management Unit, ie office staff.

Hiya mate and welcome.
I have been the owner of an e46 m3 and now a black blob sti,
i would'nt change the latter for the world.
People definately thought i was a **** in the M3,but the scoob demands much more respect, especially with black wheels and a de-clutter of badges
Have fun looking for your best car yet
P.s I love them in white, especially with black wheels.
Maybe a wrap one day!!

IMU - incident management uni... However ours means response teams.
NPU - Neighborhood Policing Unit... Local beat walkers... More office based seen as now we arn't supposed to pick up anything, everything passes to them once the initial is done so we don't get swamped with paper!
ARV in couple of years maybe
Stealthy - Sounds good to me! I liked my M3... more because my ex (Super Hot) liked it... I'm glad you think the Sti is a better vehicle... It seems to make more sense and hopefully won't cost £4k when if the gearbox disintegrates!!!
I'm looking everywhere but they are all blue! Grrrrr

Advanced cars on response? I need to come and work with you!
The STI is definitely a head turner. If you so much as blip the throttle the nearest elderly gent will wave his fist/shake his head/curse at you. Seems to happen all the time, even when rev matching to down change.
Also be prepared to look like the local paedophile when every child puts their thumb up at you or waves, its worse than being in a Police car!

Dont worry about the tax on a JDM, if it was registered before april 06 then its a mere 215 quid as they didnt come with co2 emissions on the logbooks
If you can stretch then do so for the sake of that poor spec c, it really does have your name on it, its more fun than that clio cup

However, the Skoda's are a whole different animal... I LOVE them. If I cared about fuel economy Id get one in a heartbeat, and the dog would be pinned to the back window all the time!
I did Alton Towers to Stone in 12 minutes down the country lanes on my training... Thats a 35min drive normally!
Where do you work? I look forward to the attention from the kids...

Advanced cars are for the intercept team, ANPR, RPU, ARV and Motorway.
We make do with Corsa diesels, Fiesta diesels (worst car I have ever driven) and Focus 1.6 TDCI (sadly the best car in our pool)
They have even taken my favourite vehicle (SWB Transit) and replaced them with the Transit Connect, which with rear side windows looks like it could sell ice cream or transport the pope.
I used to own a Skoda Fabia VRS (remapped) and nearly bought the octavia but settled for a CTR. Lovely cars.

I found this earlier... Sounds good value to you boys?
I quite fancy one without PPP etc so I can send it to Scoobyworks for their handling pack and stage 1 performance pack...

Not bad value, note its a 2006 car, reknown for head gasket issues, not a cheap fix when those go (the main reason apart from the ringland failures to leave the 2.5's alone)
Drive a UK then drive a JDM, the difference is quite impressive, you may find the UK car a little "soft" and not quite a precise as you want....
