I'm in the same boat as you mate, today I mostly dug up tree roots, went shopping, nearly bought a new car for her indoors but didn't even lift the garage door - tomorrow though, she's been told...

...and she's letting me play

Its another hour less to do though. Keep chipping, all of a sudden it'll all come together and there will be light at the end of the tunnel

Remember, the glass is always half full

.......anyways I want to come up and have a gander at it when its done and see where all the magic happens (so you'd best finish it) .........maybe even discuss painting a future project I have in the pipeline

I look at mine every morning sitting there forlornly in front of its garage under its cover through the kitchen window...then carry my bike through the house because the bloody thing is blocking my rear gates and go to work and do nowt on it; an hour is one step closer Ryan (things could be worse)

Don't do it mate. Just leave it for a while, you'll regret it. What I saw those few times looked proper stunning.

If its getting in the way of the family, totally understand and it is only a car. If not, don't do it

Once again thanks for the kind supportive words,I keep hitting these's low points and tbho the last few times I've worked on the car It's been very unproductive which brought me to the point of saying 'you know what,**** it!'........................but after working on it today and making the decision and returning home to tell my better half I was told she would wear my ***** as earrings if I broke it before even having some use from it with all the expense and time it's pinched from me being at home which came as a shock given she usually just moans about the car.

I am going to push really hard now to get it complete so I stop having this constant up and down routine lol

Anyways I've purchased a few more goodies over the last couple of weeks, some of which have arrived including Summit racing front subframe supports and an NRG quick release steering wheel kit with short hub.
Others I'm still waiting on are adjustable trailing arms,Prodrive floor mats,Murray clamps for IC pipe work and Tim@JTInnovations has ordered the Mil spec connector for the engine bay custom loom.

Today I did a bit which was getting the car on the pit and suspending the engine so I could drop the front subframe down to allow me to get the sump off and change it out for the RCM baffled one but also to gain access to the steering rack input/output ports to swap them out for an unions for braided pipes, sump change went well but I fecked up 3 lengths of teflon hose for PAS which was basically what pi55ed me off after feeling down already about the car.

I'll spent half day on it tomrrow as well

Glad she talked some sense into you, long way to drive to slap you! Now tuck your flaps back into your knickers and stop being so premenstrual....

Ryan, Having done a few projects now I know exactly how you feel.

My last one for instance. I regret not finishing that big time it looked stunning at Snetterton.

I had the exact same drama with my white one too but thankfully got through it and the rewards at the end are tremendous. Stick with it mate I can assure you it's worth it in the end!!
