Ali, no, these are different, they don't actually screw into the bracket in the gutter like you posted. They slide under the clip in the gutter.

Like a Subaru garage? I've already spoken with Subaru and they've confirmed it's not the correct one.

Not the easiest thing to photograph, but you can see the roof rack brackets will not clip under the roof brackets as they are too thick.

Anything else Tim?

Cant make that out very well tbh... I can make out the plate for the rack but it doesnt show what exactly your problem is.

Are you saying the bracket pictured below (Ignore the bolt and hole that's drilled in the middle - this is from a 2 door GC8) is different to the bracket on a 4 door GC8?

Anyone got a picture of a 4 door roof bracket as the one above looks identical to the one on my old car from memory.

If it's any help, I recently did some work on my roof, and remember there being 6 brackets in total for some reason - 4 for the factory-option roof-bars, and another 2 whose purpose I'm still not very sure of.

Yes, it appears so. The gap which the roof rack bracket slides into seems much smaller than what is required, i.e. the roof rack bracket is too thick and won't fit.
