Ha, as always your assessment of a persons intellect,
education or intelligence based on spelling is massively flawed particularly as you constantly make your own spelling errors while attempting to highlight and prove other peoples apparent shortcomings.
Only a fool would assess a persons intellect based on spelling
This is a tactic that you utilise when your unfounded arguments and insults aimed by yourself at others as a result of trolling a thread such as this one are often exposed as 'baseless bluster'.
You have been left with egg on your face by John Felstead, and you then backtrack and proceded to patronise and massage the ego of JF which was embarrasing, excruciatingly pitiful and laughable all at the same time.
You then try to excuse your behavior by hypothesising and explaining that you were engaging in an intelligent exchange, after trolling somebody elses thread and insulting others.
You then called me a retarded ****.
The only difference between you and me dear heart, is that i would actually call you that to your face while you are just another pretentious tinternet keyboard warrior.
Forget about your self percieved standing on snet and about the number of posts that you have, get yourself a life, or even a girlfriend.

What an utter hypocrite! I am wrong to judge you based on your posting on here yet you clearly seem to think you know about me from mine.
Anyway as fun as this banter has been (even if you are not much of an opponent) it all feels a bit pathetic in light of yesterday's sad news so maybe you too should jog on and get that life as for some people it is sadly all too short

Why don't you save this pathetic spat for private messages.
Either that, or meet in person and "have it out".
You never know, you might actually have something in common, in which case you can "get a room".
I propose that the moderators put a stop to the incessant squabbling that f*cks up these threads for everyone else!

This really isn't the right place for you two to be swinging your hand bags at dawn.

More importantly and as I said in my post in light of recent more sobering events maybe it's best we just get on with it. For now and as they say on the den I'm out

I`ve had a 2.0 Scooby Sport. It was my first out of the 5 Impreza`s I`ve owned.
I`d actually just bought it as a quick temp runaround to replace the M3 that someone rear ended me in. I wasn`t looking at getting on the Scooby ladder at all.... I ended up liking the thing and even kept it longer than I planned to... Reliable as hell... I had it over a winter, which up hear North of Aberdeen can be pretty harsh. Was amazed at just how well she handled in the snow.
So, my opinion is if someone that is young and wants a Turbo`d Scooby, but can`t quite afford the insurance and running costs just yet... Then they should get a Sport...
Fair enough, it don`t have the speed, power as the Turbo or even some other cars out there..... But really, come on..... No-one is driving there cars at full pelt constantly, it`s not a race each time there is a car infront. .... My Type-RA`s boost 50% of the time is set "Off" on my AVCr
And personally, I`d rather hear of a Young Future Turbo`d Scooby owner have the sense to not jump straight in and go for 300bhp+ and end up hurting themselves through "Wanting and Needing" speed, power to get past everyone in front...
As in a post I read earlier, this is "ScoobyNet"... Impreza`s of all Spec are and should be welcome`d
Anyway, after I had the Sport, I was hooked on Scooby`s and have never looked back...

Subaru make the Legacy and other models too, both turbo/non-turbo variants so don't miss them out either!

As should all variants of the subaru marque. 'Scooby' means Subaru, not just Impreza, as I pointed out earlier in theis thread before Twin Peeks took offence to me pointing this out.

now we both drive scoobys and yes they both have turbos in them.
but i dont think there is anything wrong with sports. but if you just want a car to get from a to b then i can think of cheaper cars to run.

I read the first couple of pages, got bored with all the nonsense and skipped to the last page. Good God, I couldn't believe it was still going on!
Yeah I had a 2.0 Sport as my first Scoob, and it was a great first step to what I really wanted. Unfortunately due to sh*te tyres that came with it I didn't get to enjoy it for too long. And there was me thinking that the back end was stepping out due to my great driving .
I did think the engine was gutless compared to a 2.0 Mondeo, but I still loved it.
Used the insurance payout to get a WRX, completely different as you'd expect, just loved that exhaust note.
Now got exactly what I want for an old g*t. A nice "quiet" Spec D.
I love Subaru, mainly coz of the entertainment that Mr McRae provided. Good on you all for having a Scoob. And if you don't have a Scoob then Booooooo!

I own a AWD sport currently, love it to bits, looking to go turbo in october once i reach 25, I dont earn the pennies to really buy a turbo until the insurance drops at the age of 25, but i will get one.
Not to mention by sport has never had anything wrong touch wood, never cost me a penny flew through the MOT.
