Didn't watch it, but have it recorded so might give ot a spin if there's not paint to watch drying. Been saying all this about TG for three years, and finally people are agreeing with me.
It was ok, not a bad hour and a halfs telly, seen them do a lot better though, its all got a bit samey but its still way better than most of the **** n the TV, Eastenders for example.
I dont bother at all with the TG Specials anymore as they're much the same. I dont really understand why the Top Gear brand is associated with it either.
Some parts of it all seemed so unrelated and boring such as "hosting a british conference thingy infront of rich Indian men in a bid to sell them a lawn mower" ...totally pointless and boring;they tried so hard to make it funny it simply failed.
Why couldn't we have seen them just driving through India in some nice expensive super cars?
The only time I have been in India I well remember being upset by the grinding poverty.
I don't watch Top Gear on principle anyway.

I think they struck a pretty good balance with how they handled that side of it. Managed to show some of the best of the country, without completely overlooking what life is like for more ordinary folk.

All explained in the opening few minutes of the program. It's called a theme.
Yes I realise that but what Im saying is that I would have much prefered to see them do away with a theme and seen them simply driving/testing supercars through India

Thats fair enough then. I could not complain at that.
