I've had to cancel my card and wait 7 days for a new one, great!

Good job I wasnt hundreds of miles away and cashless or I'd have been screwed.

Out of interest, what would happen if you were say 500 miles away from home and that happened?
Exactly the same as just happened to you.

Dropped Beth at work just now and thought I'd drip the few extra miles to go back and have a look. Took some pics.

Card reader (as of this afternoon)...

The ATM pictured above seems to look ok to me?? Need more of an overall picture to be sure. Check for extra seams / joins where they would not normally be.

To be honest, the card reader looked ok, was a bit loose when I pulled it about but other than that looked OEM.

The hole in the top though, looked a bit dodgy, possibly a camera.

Yup, as soon as I read your first post my first thought was 'card skimmer'

Glad you cancelled the card.

Sometime they have covers that cover the whole front of the machine:

The hole is well dodgy IMO.

I wasn't aware how good they were until I saw a cops with cameras type program where they stopped some dodgy people in a car and found a complete front to a cashpoint the boot!

I think a pull out fabric keypad protector would eliminate the camera seeing you type your pin. Maybe like on a retractable roller blind a couple of inches about the keypad.

Not sure using a hand covers enough.
