2.5 has tourque in the beggining but poops out @ high end. Not revy engines... Just personal experience, i know new age's have more potential, as they are more refind etc., but do i need that ?? NOT yet ! I might be not be as fast as alot of the cars, but its all about thefun factor, feeling, physical connection between you and the car.....
Just my opinion...

They don't have lots of power though: a S2 has a better processor, more ram etc...
I've always said that the faster the car, the slower you tend to drive it....most of the time!
Above a certain level, you simply can't put your foot down for more than a couple of seconds without attaining a speed where you'd lose your licence, so you do have to pick your moments carefully!

I remeber Bob saying when he was mapping mine, that he'd done two similar ones in another country and upon testing one with launch control, one of it's engine mounts went bye bye!
I got all 4 wheels spinning in 3rd the other day (not from standstill obviously).... I thought the road was dry too!!
I just can't help but feel that reving a stationary car like that and them dumping all that torque on the drivetrain is a nice thing to do to the car..... I'm quite fond of mine!
That said, I totally nailed one launch.....OMG I had to pull over to give my brain a chance to process what had just happened.

The problem with ANY Scoob or Evo is that you can never really tell just what power they are running- could be standard, could be 500+ and mostly no way of telling!
Last time I had a shot in a 997 Turbo (480bhp?) I was enjoying a nice countryside blast when an Evo chased me down from nowhere, didn't want any part of it but looked for all purposes standard but when I pulled across to let him past......
.....let's just say the sound and fireball shooting out the Exhaust made it anything but! Lol.

I would never bother trying to play with a porsche turbo as they are just too slow, the only car I would like to bump into for a play with is a Zonda but I doubt thats gonna happen?

Its not always the biggest and fastest processors, that will do best when running real world applications.

I think you need to look at that one again. There have been a number of benchmarks done, with a variety of performance stressing processes, on all of the latest handsets. The Iphone 4S beat every handset, including the S2, and by fairly big margins too. The Iphone only has an 800mhz dual core processor, but coupled with its new graphics chip, its quite a formiddable device.

Nice try but the comment below that review says it all
Um, this doesn't "prove prove it's faster than Galaxy S2" at all. It proves it can render JavaScript quicker ... which mainly comes down to the browser that is rendering it. Try a different browser on android and you would get completely different results.
AND
As above Galaxy S2, running firefox browser, Sun Spider result 1429 ... blows 4S out of the water. You can prove something is faster using just one single test. Come on CNET get your act together!
Anyway, back to cars, which are faster than both phones!

I reckon a JDM 05-06 2.0 350/350 takes some beating. It doesn't do a fantastic 1/4 mile but how it's power is delivered on track or road tales some beating. I reckon you'd need 400bhp uk SCOOB to keep up with it.
I really loved my old T20 hawkeye. The power and grip was awesome IMHO
I don't think a great 1/4 mile is the be all and end all answer to settle anything. In the real world you can never be at the perfect rev.
