kayaks could simply go around it, like I said the editing n camera angles could quite easily give the impression of something else. Probably find the kayakers were actors/paid sportsmen anyway.
How do u know the river bed was still soft clay, maybe just maybe they rigged something up to deal with that?
Obviously the tv production crew had paid to use the area! hence no other traffic or waves lol

With the second one, may have used a leg brace, but that still doesn't account for his crazy centre of gravity! Plus he would need amazing knee, leg, hip strength to pull himself up from those angles unaided on one leg.
It boggles the mind, but then that is what it's supposed to do!

lol no it doesn't. There are explanations for it all. Of course the cost n logistics would be high and more impressive than the trick, that's the whole point of an "effective" illusion !! In this case though it was a complete waste as its pretty blatantly obvious how it was done!

maybe we could use the same technique to pay down the deficit
worth a thought

theres not really any point in all this magician stuff anymore. its all been done and while it might be on a diffrent scale if you know how its done its pointless. theres very few "new" tricks that come out where everybody thinks "how the?..."

There's no such thing as magic, but people who work really hard day in day out to come up with new tricks. Its funny though, people always make out its all easy, yet choose to work in an office rather than do it themselves and earn themselves millions.
For me when he spins the iphone in half is his best trick.

A quick look at youtube has just explained many off the ways he or others do these acts. phone in the bottle trick that I was admittdly baffled by was revealed as being done by way off the bottle having a slit down the back for the phone to fit into which obviously proves that certainly on a great deal off his acts the so called public are infact part off the whole act.
a few others I still dont understand unless the public are once again in on the act from the start ie. ring around the stem off the glass, bending the glass etc ??
anyone ??
