Some gorgeous rooms in a genuine chateau, food is superb and the ambiance perfect.

We took a bottle of bubbly in our car's cooler to drink on arrival, we are cheap that way
Yep, lovely place.

I have just looked at flights and hotels for Venice and i am amazed on some of the deals, for a 5 star hotel with flight included its not that much more then a 4 star hotel i was looking at in Paris.

Ah the Kingdom- FB home territory.

The Lake is a nice old fashioned place (with a new wing)and what a location. Both my kids managed to fall into the lake from the little castle last summer
Molls gap and Windy gap are great drives but not that romantic

Stayed here in October, a minute from the Champs Elysees and very nice. You could even park on the street outside, so ideal if you want to take your car. Paris is expensive and full of tourists, but IMO it is probably the most beautiful city in the world.
