Craigo, have you even seen the car? Why are you so intent on getting a "fake" RA?

Is it curiosity or desperation to get rid of the PPP?

Proberbly a VF23, but as no-one can establish exactly what this holy grail of cars actually is then it could have a VF36 twin scroll for all we know!

I'll swap yours plus a grand for my UK Classic? Its not an RA but I can fit a roof vent and aerial if it helps?

I can also get you a 1997 Type R with 77k on the clock in nearly standard trim for £5k if you're interested.

It's a UK turbo, the rear wing is known as a mid level (best looking on a classic IMO) and came on STI V2 and V3 and V4.

4.Year code A=MY93 B=MY94 C=MY95&96 D=MY97 (facelift) E=MY98 F=MY99 G=MY00
5.Number of doors 2=2 door coupe 4=4 door saloon 5=5 door wagon/hatch
6.Model type 8=WRX 7=RA type E=Sti D=Sti Type R & RA
7.Transmission D=5 Speed Manual AWD P=4 Speed Automatic AWD

1 of 2 things has happend here:

1) you have missed undertstood bonski's reply or
2) i have miss understood your reply.

what bonski has explained is the code you originally gave points to the car being a 4 door sti model MY95/96 not a type ra as you seem to have been infomred by the vendor.

if you want a RA version then walk away.
