So they are quite happy to drive over 30 when there children are safe in there cars but are also quite happy to mow someone elses child down. I just sit there and hold them up and make them all do 30 . I haven't got any children but I respect other peoples children and there right to be safe whilst playing .

Or another thing is the drivers who do 40 in a 60 or 40 in a 30 grrrrrrrr .
or the drivers who cant stick to there own side of the road i live on a drivers road with lots of lovely corners fab done at 60mph but the amount of people who do 40mph then cut the corners even on tight blind bends is soooo scary and not nessasary for them to cut as they driving so slow to begin with its just down to laziness whilst driving and no need for it .

Or another thing is the drivers who do 40 in a 60 THEN do 40 in a 30

Think it is just the Image/noise of an Impreza I drive through a village on my way to take my little lad to school at well under the speed limit as theres kIds everywhere that time of day and the lollipop lady looks disgusted at me everytime she's see the car then stares at us all the way up the road but the lollipop man on the end of the road sees us that much he now nods at us think he likes to see the car in a mornin rather than all the people carriers maybe he's a Scooby owner and forgets he's in a bright yellow jacket and not a scoob

Noisy exhaust plus tottering in 2nd gear. WILL cause complaints because you have an engine buzzing at 3000rpm.

Drop it into 4th or 5th instead and you won't get the same issue. Oh hang on, scoobs don't have enough torque to pull at 25mph in 4th. tsk tsk.

As for the 40mph everywhere brigade...shoot them at dawn!

I get the token old people in the village waving, head shaking or even praying to my car all because of the noise. Something that seems to particularly enrage them is if you blip the throttle on a downshift. This is all whilst doing 30mph or less!

On a different note, I was driving down a single track road in the lakes, had good cross views due to a low dry stone wall so I opened the scoob up a bit. Whilst driving towards a 90 degree right hand bend an old woman dressed in full hiking gear (sticks and all) jumped out of the bush to my nearside and started to shout "SLOW DOWN" which I could actually hear over the top of my scoob. She had even enlisted the help of a local farmer who was stood near her shaking his head. The poor sods must have heard me coming for miles! I had to stop in the nearest passing place just to contain my laughter. The piece of road in question was a national limit and when they jumped out I was doing around 30 mph

im very sorry to hear that tbh, but please dont take it personally, number 1 i was only having a little joke, i can admit it i am a hypocrite when it comes to driving, i dont agree on speeding because yes it is very dangerous to other people, and there are serious repercussions involved in accidents etc and i tell other people off, but yet i do still do it , but at the end of the day, i am who i am, and i drive in a way i feel comfortable with. and yes i hope to god i never, ever hit anyone.
