Sadly its a common trick, and there's quite a few Romanians in Spain that do the very same trick.

Remember all those Romanian ophans from years ago?

Single mum Vasile - whose children are aged 11, seven, six and two - works between 16 and 24 hours each week, spread over up to five days

She has been here since 2007 so it seems only one child was actually born here.

Why? It'll make them kids English and have as much right to benefits as you or I. If you want to be picky you would probably find there isnt many through and through Englishmen on this forum, where do you draw the line?

I guess it's not a condition precedent although why would home (not homeless) people even do it unless of course it's so they can start to claim YET ANOTHER F*CKING BENEFIT

I'm sorry but get off your **** & start to earn your bloody keep ...

The sooner the benefit rules are tightened up the better (for immigrants and non-immigrants alike).

I would go along with the sentiments expressed in your second paragraph in this instance.
If you pay people to do something, then they will do it.
And if that something is nothing - then more fool you.
It ain't rocket science.
ps I'd rather pay less tax than have more teachers and nurses.

Why do you think they want to come here in the first place? It,s not for the sun, sea or similar it,s because our government are a soft touch. Unfortunately our government are not so kind to their own people who have to foot the bill..

If mere spelling mistakes annoy you, how do you feel about immigrants coming into the country, claiming all the benefits and not even bothering to learn English to try to intergrate?

My point is that in my experience those who blame all the country's ills on immigrants tend to have something in comon. I'll leave you to work out what... I shan't be waiting up though

Oh and as for your question I feel we as a nation have bigger problems to worry about than some immigrants cheating the system!

i think economic migration is fantastic -- and is the ultimate affirmation of the human spirit -- the desire to better oneself

The philosophical ancestors of economic migrants will be colonising other worlds whilst the inhabitants of this god forsaken planet will be wondering why Greggs the bakers is no longer available

Only one thing bothers me sometimes , that most of you guys have this immigrant stereotype thing, yes i wasn't born in this country but i work hard as most of you , pay tax etc. Some comments on here makes me sick realy, very narrow minded point of view. I do also think alot of foreigners take advantage of the system which is wrong. But please stop treating all of us the same , this forum has alot of different nationalities , be gentle. Lol

Don't think they are just pointing the finger at foreigners in general mate, it's the ones that just come over here with no intention to contribute to the econemy, just want to bleed the place dry.

I think people who are fit enough to work but choose not to should face cut backs before the rest of us, they clearly don't want anything in life anyway.

We should do it like Australia, if you ain't gonna bring something good to the country then eff off.

So Im thick! British thick & proud ! Oh and I spell country as CUNTry because I can

And I must stress one thing... If your born here or your here working and making a better life for yourself I am all for it. (I hate using the term your but hey) I get extreamly annoyed at the free loaders that come knowing they can jump on the gravey train and slurp it up for free. Yet when I need treatment - or any contibuter we have to wait months...

Winds me up even more that the ones that come into this country illegally can't be deported without papers WTF

Agree, i have already asked the question,

Where in the world could a Brit go without a skill set, claim benefit and free housing, at the expense of the local population.

The handwringers haven't come back with an answer yet!

And another thing, where in the world could a Brit go and get free health care?

You are not answering the question. How much in benefit would i get and what size house would they give me. And if i became ill, would i recieve professional medical treatment free of charge?
