Yes I know what you mean. I used to build my own race engines and they went well enough, but you can't beat having the full set up kit to do a top job.

Look forward to hearing how it all goes,I know you will enjoy it!

A few big stops at snet, mind the brakes, they will fade quite quickly. (I assume its on standard brakes..)

Herculean burnout ,
400m rolling burnout out of the pit lane,
Full opposite lock round every turn,
Smouldering brakes and blue discs on your return.
Anything less and you're a limp wristed gaymosexual who doesn't deserve the opportunity you've been given.
Deep down you know its the only option.
astraboy.

Would anyone know the suspension settings for fast road/track for the merc.
we have a hunter pro align so will be sorting the car out before the big day.
I know there are some suspension guru's on the site so any help would be much appreciated!

Thumbs up

Nice pics mate.

I have to say, you cant beat a good trackday.
Just did one on Sunday, bit differant to yours as it was 33º Celcius !

So the real question is, what other cars attended ?

The conditions made it a wee bit tricky trying to find grip.
Really good mix of cars
a few porsches
rs4
Evos
m3s including a full touring car.
Load of hondas
really good mix of cars and talent.
Cant wait to go back on my bike..

Cold and wet Snetterton is a tricky proposition - bet the driving aids earned their money.
Avoid the racing line is the secret there!

The morning session was great and i was doing alot of passing with the aid of the electronics lol
i started off using the cones for turn in and apex but after a whilr i didnt need them.
The afternoon session was totally different.
Hard work all afternoon and the front tended to wash out on the brakes at the end of bentley straight.
If it wasnt for the traction we would have been in the gravel multiple times.
All in i had the best time and learned alot about car control and self control!!
We are planning donnington next. lol
hopefully i will be in my scoob for that one.

I can see that you might have had to watch the road conditions, glad you enjoyed it anyway.

Donington is a good track, you will like that one too. Let us know how you get on,
