Such a shallow view Andy. Do you really believe that any sensible developer would leave a prosperous market for one that's so difficult to extract money from?
Unlike you I wish the Android market all success, it hasn't happened yet but I'm sure in time a classic Android App will cross over into the Apple market. It's all a bit one sided right now.
F1, what are you doing posting on this thread exactly?

These threads make me laugh. All of SN Team Apple bar one is here present and correct making all the ususal comments. Do you lot really feel that insecure about your choice of phone that you jkust HAVE to comment on every phone thread regarding how superior the iPhone is? It's a complete oxymoron!

depends on your case Brun, and what you want a phone for etc
i ended up moving away from PAYG as i needed a decent net allowance and was getting ripped a new one a the time so went Sim Free, but i've just gone to a phone contract today.
cheapest SimOnly on vodafone with 500MB was 17quid, so over 2 years £408, plus a phone at £500 odd so around £900 in total over 2 years.
the contract ive gone for isnt the cheapest i guess, but £21.50 a month over 2 years at £516 plus the phone for £150 so total £666 which is quite abit cheaper
i could have gone giffgaff at £10 a month, £240 over 2 years, with the same phone cost makes a total of £740, still more expensive than the above Phone contract
kinda depends what phone you want and what you need, mins/texts/net etc
if i wanted a cheaper phone and didnt need net then i'd of looked at it again and prob kept PAYG with my old Nexus One and ended up paying like a tenner a month at a push
of course i could have totally fecked up , and missed something
