anyway,
i had green panel filter, walbro, 3" cat back, v power and remapped by race dynamix at scooby clinic, i got 263bhp

now got, vf35, pinks, big top mount, decat up and down pipes, another remap at the clinic by dunx, only wanted 320bhp, dunx mapped it low and got 325bhp and still get 24mpg could have been 345ish

local shell has stopped selling v power, so couldn't be arsed with a 20 mile round trip, so just been mapped again. now mapped on 95ron and only lost 7bhp. cheers dunx

i know 1 with 340/370 and 1 with 370/400 and they've never had a problem.

Totally different scenario, and as previously explained was down to my boost gauge not reading that high. But feel free to go over old ground and send threats like your mate did

My comment re. the y-pipe was valid and the poster agreed it was mis worded. But don't let's the facts get in the way of digging up
Old ground and shît stirring.

It will be fine with 320, usually fine with up to 350. And higher than that, you have to be careful with fast standing starts or launches.

This I issue with both 'boxes and engines I'm afraid. You can't really assume something will handle a certain power just because 'my mate down t'pub had one at X amount of power. This is the main reason when having my classic mapped and achieving impressive torque that I decided to leave it there until I have funds to replace either the 13 year old engine or gearbox.

I bet those saying 'yeah mate, good for 350-400+' etc won't be coughing up if your 'box or engine shît itself, as Dave aka initialD found out as he delved into the higher 300's.

Andy

I see my previous post was removed, whats up choco starfish didnt you like it,,,,,,,,, i also cant believe your trying to give technical advice when you thought it was ok to run 1.6 bar on a td04
As proven by your lack of knowledge its best to let the ones who know about subaru's give the advice, although your may mean well you advice could be the end of somones project 1.6bar

I think in the 350's is but it on a VF34 I have 352bhp/340LBft which I think is very good from a Bugeye.

Are you on a vf34 too?
Thats a fair amount of torque, especially on a bug. Well done fella

Edit:
Sorry just re-read your earlier post and see you are on a vf34.
