Seems like they are doing a special price, deliver to the UK and brought via paypal Im protected.
Would of liked the 2200 SR90 but even at £160 or so Ive gone completely mad with this one :-) I live on the beach, and near the downs, so this torch will light my way.
Will report once I recieve it. Psssss. No one tell my Mrs either :-)

I ended up with about 30 torches in a month. Don't whatever you do go on candlepower forum and start reading, you'll end up wanting a mind blowing keychain light (I have one that runs on a 3.7v li-ion AAA size battery that puts out 300lumens) all variations of battery sizes lights, a light for your bed side cabinet that has a super low, a 'thrower' that can chuck the emitter shape hundreds of meters, etc. when you've done all those you'll start on titanium lights, then you'll be looking at the custom made ones on the forum with built in tritium vials.
What are you going to do about batteries? 6xcr123's *Luckily it takes RCR123's so I 'd deffinately recommend getting those and a charger (more expense)
Ledfiretorches.co.uk is a good site in the uk, bought a few things off them and you can get 8% off with a discount code too.

Hi James, The torch comes with a set of batteries and I was going to go from there. I plan to sniff around and buy a set of rechargable ones, and a charger. I wll take a look at the site you recommended.
So, tell me more about this key chain torch ?? :-) What sort of lumens do those titanium ones go too ?? Or is lumens the measurement for led torches only ??
Torches is one hell of a subject, and I love how you can go onto youtube and look at the examples.

There's a guy on candlepower who's producing a single AAA size light that's going to put out 500lumems. That will probably be the last light I buy for a while.
You can pretty cheaply get a crazy bright AAA light though, something like an ITP A3 eos, whith the the xpg-r5 led puts out about 90lumens (which in itself is great for a tiny little light) but there's batteries available that are AA (14500) or AAA (10440) size that are 3.7v li-ion rather than 1.5v of alkaline. Stick one of these in an a3 eos and it's laugh out loud bright. I've got bigger lights like thrunite tn11 that put out a good 800lumems but there's something about the tiny lights chucking out loads of light, the unexpected I suppose. It's quite funny handing it to someone.. "oh, here I've got my keychain light" ... "WTF!"
One of my favourite lights is a sunwayman V10R titanium, they have a magnetic, infinately variable control ring. It's the light I'd keep if I could only have one. It only runs one single cr123 battery and is pretty small but it's still bright as hell and looks/feels amazing. I use mine every day, it gets up with me at 4:30 (so I don't have to turn lights on) and comes with me and I even use it when reading to my son every night as you can have it super low when you're reading in the dark.
It's a funny thing when you get into torches, you start out wanting the brightest for your money and as you get into it you end up wanting lights that have a really low mode as well or a warmer colour to the light output. Then you start looking for ways to find that amazement you first had when you fired up your first really bright torch. Throwers are a good example, lights with aspherical lenses that focus the light to a pencil thin beam. It's just another way to find a wow moment.
There's some really nice looking jetbeam lights out now that are crazy bright for little lights. The PA10, single AA size, so a tiny light but it'll also take a li-ion 14500 3.7v cell and do 650 lumens! That is incrdedible for a little AA size light. Or the PC10 which is even smaller, takes the little cr123 batteries and that'll do 550 lumems.

Hi guys, i fancy a decent keyring light thats not too big or expensive has decent battery life and goes in my jeans pocket with my house and car key attached.
I currently have a little single led energiser that i got at wilko's for a couple of quid, but it's not particularly bright, just about good enough to light the floor in front of me on a dark night, and all this talk of mega bright lights has wetted my appetite for something better.
I'm out in the mountains with no light pollution so it can get very dark here, so it gets a reasonable amount of use but never for more than a few mins at a time, i don't want to be faffing with batteries all the time so am willing to compromise lumens for battery life.
So as small and bright as possible, did i mention cheap, but i don't mind paying a little extra for quality that will perform and last.
And a pointer to decent batteries would be good too.

Thats just perfect and the fact there are no fancy batteries is a real plus, and what a price, 10/10
Only problem now is i just spent 2hrs looking at knives, i'm a bit of a collector off and on and just spotted a nice helle bushcraft jobbie that i fancy for when i go to india in a couple of months, this could get expensive as now i think i need one of the slightly bigger torches as well.
Any more recommendations.

The beauty of it is when you turn it on it'll come on at around 2.5 lumens which is perfect for fumbling at the front door with keys kind of light. Then if you quickly twist it off and on it comes on at 20 lumens, then if you want high, same again and it'll be 70 lumens. As I say, first turn on it always comes on low so great for battery (will go 20 hours on low) and if that's all you ever want then you never have to acces other modes.
They are only about £18 delivered too.

OK it turned up today and I did a brief test in my living room with curtains drawn with my mini maglite (2x AA) and this torch, and frankly the difference is laughable, it's like night and day!

It's funny how many people think maglites are the 'be all'. I was telling my mrs' uncle about my torch collecting (after she was taking the pi55 out of me, so had to explain) and he informed me I should get a D cell maglite as it was the best torch you could get. I actually had a little torch with me, a single AA with XML led, this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XENO-Tiger...#ht_3385wt_689*these happily take a 14500 battery (basically a 3.7v AA) which I had installed, I fired the little light up for him. I could see his mind trying to work it out.
Incidentally, the xeno e03 with xm-l is a real bargain, will happily take normal aa's but is crazy bright on 14500's, got to be around 400umens.

Problem with my Cree Trustfire is it's 240 lumen o/p, while being impressively commendable is sometimes too bright, and you want to reduce it. Say camping, in a tent, walking up a dark lane where you 'just' want to see and not obliterate your night vision...
Just ordered a Olight i3 as I like the low level option
