Update, I did say I'd wait on seven takers until I started looking at prices but the interest has taken off so Ill leave it a few more days so that we can get as many on board with as low a price for all as possible.

Only thing I am slightly concerned about is import tax. Anyone have any experience of this?

Damn! Might have screwed it there - anything under £40 gets through... after that there's duty, VAT and handling fee

As single units they would be fine, this many and you'd get clobbered

So a quid each if we get 24 and say £1.50 delivery so still pretty reasonable I think

You'll only save about 50p from just paying the single rate.

I've been considering a blanket for my MD321H I assume this would be ok for this turbo?
I do worry about Chinese goods like this. Look good but made of Yak fur, straw and cow dung. Thin as well!
Somebody convince me of this very make, and I'll have one!

This looks identical to me if you're not a trader and buying in convincing packing to sell off at trade shows for highly inflated prices

53 is right, take off the postage from my place and the share of the import tax and we won't be saving much, if anything.
I think we should contemplate going single on this, if postage was a few pence more and import tax likewise we could be mugging ourselves.

Mods, don't move this to group buys!

Its like the shop window for every Chinese knock-off shop!

From what I can see a group buy is not feasible really, are we going to go it alone?

How much is it as a single unit with all the expenses?

£25.14 with the free delivery. Im guessing that the 'group buy' price would be

19.80 for the item.
1. 10 for the share of the import tax, based on 53's estimate
1.50 for delivery.

Bear in mind all those figures can change with the exchange rate and firm tax prices.

The adds ons are basically VAT plus the handling fee of the Post Office which was about £15 for the last one I got stopped for. Although that was a while ago.

Every blanket I have bought from the US has got through no probs.

All but one small part import from the east has incurred customs.

Ok, I'm going to order one on its own. I think it'll end up being more trouble than it's worth as a group buy.

The particular version you are considering is the 'small' I've just found this, stating the 'Big' is suitable for T3/T4 size turbo's. Before you order, make doubly sure you're getting the correct one for your turbo!
