On my 3rd listen of it in work, flawless mixing, and well programmed in choice of tunes mate.
Top marks coming from me, an old schooler. Only gripe I'd have if i'd have done it is at 15.56 when your bringing in the prodigy is that the channel needed less gain and the bass dialing out a fraction..lol.
I'll certainly be listening to more if you link them.
Top one ,sorted.

Cheers. Eelz, totally get you. As I said in my OP, I simply set stuff up by ear and recorded onto Audacity. I haven't tweaked, mastered or done anything to the gains etc., it just went straight up for download. A lot of DJs fiddle to make promos or re-recordings sound perfect but this then just makes every mix sound the same and only about choon choice. I find this wrong as being a dj is about technical ability when mixing and allowing folk to hear you're not perfect. Slight double beats or levels/gain slightly off reminds you it's been mixed by hand and ear, not on a laptop

Your mix in the original post really brightened up my 8.5 hours driving yesterday, took me to places only trance music can take you....and very loudly!!
I was really into mixing back between 1998-2000 when I was single and living alone, didn't have much cash at the time so I was limited to set of Numark turntables, a mixer and a Korg Kaoss pad, I used to practice most nights and friends who heard me said I was very good (but I'm sure friends would say that anyway )
I sold it all when I met my now wife
Just noticed that classic track listing has Agnelli & Nielson on, I'm wetting my pants they made some unbelievable tunes, Hudson Street was one of my particular favourites and do you rememebr Cream by Cream? That was from around the same time.
I need to hear that set!!!
p.s putting Prodigy in that mix...genius!!!

As a few have asked I'll try re-upload the classics set but my pc isn't brilliant and I have work, djing, 11 month old teething son... You get the idea... See what I can do over the coming days. The mixing isn't my best but again straight recording off cdj onto pc.
That Ignition set re-recording had a lot of mashups and unofficial mixes in it, bootlegs etc. away from the same choons every DJs playing. So when I came across work by Bryan Kearney, Indecent Noise and David Moleon amongst others, my set was born
Possibly got another set in March as the night is monthly so see what set time I get and will jot the set down. We'll see.
Thanks for the comments,
Andy
P.S. back in 2002 I started on plastic Numark beltdrives before buying my Technics 1210s a few months later.
