I didn't say their doors were open, maybe your not familiar with a BMW dealership. clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
This has to be the worst forum ever, everyone is just so quick to try and point out mistakes or prove people wrong, like they earn some special points for each post or something. I did Join the BMW forum and the welcome you get is just as good as when you go to their showroom. it was a lot better than this monkey filled outfit, chav infested outfit.

Seriously do you not think this is a wind up? I couldnt care less about which section he posted in to be honest. If you haven't been a member on here why on earth do you join a Subaru forum to ask questions about a BMW? If you have had a Subaru, been a member for a while and this is where you end up then I can understand it but it is a little odd for some complete 'stranger' to do it.

Well it would appear that cob knows him, it's possible he was recommended to come on here to exploit the wealth of knowledge that is available on snet.
And even if it is a wind up does it really matter.
We as a community should try and be a tad more welcoming, as opposed to attacking on mass, and maybe try a less cynical approach.
Poor chap must feel like he's been fed to the lions at the local zoo.

Ok this is no wind up. I basically Googled my question and it took me to these forums. I couldn't find what I was after so I joined and asked the question since there were loads of comments about BMW's and other cars etc. I didn't realise I posted in the wrong section, I was in the middle of negotiating a deal with 2 different dealers do I was hoping for a quick reply since I wanted to pick the car up this weekend.
I also posted same question on BMW forum. I did not expect to be shot down so brutally for aparently posting in the wrong section on these forums.
So I have just played along with it. Clearly this section is to talk about other vehicles, maybe you have owned a BM in the past. I was hoping for some advice as I am spending a lot of money on the car. It doesn't matter as I have bought the car now anyway. I don't think this is a good advert for the forum though, I love cars and I welcome advice experiences etc.
Anyway I will stay as a member unless I get kicked or something. You get this kind of abuse when you join the gaming forums too so I am use to it. It's all good fun.
FYI though, I don't know anyone from this forum - at least not that I am aware of

I won`t get onto the subject of moderators on here as they`ll shoot the wrong person again.
I hope you enjoy your new car there are loads of genuine petrolheads on here aswell as the idiots that have shot you down for no good reason.
The genuine ones amongst us will appreciate the purchase you have just made is important to you. So i hope it gives you plenty of enjoyable driving miles.
I`ve owned a 5 series in the past and it was an excellent car.

However my local BMW dealers sales manager cant get onto the showroom floor quick enough when i step inside. Must have something to do with the excellent CSI scores i give them when i've purchased both my 535d tourers from them.
Much Love
