showells are offically rubbish. 3 phone calls and no call back. 1 phone call to crossroads in warwickshire and its booked in.
Showells have been a joke ever since Brian and Mark left. some of the worst customer service I have ever known and soooo rude when enquiring about older motors (pre 05). After some simple u clips for my mud flaps (genuine prodrive ones at the time) and they couldnt be bothered! one phone call to crossroads and they were in the post the same day free of charge.

There is another thread that has just been started on here about SN being full of muppets.
Reading the above I'm kinda inclined to agree!
Bit harsh don't you think? Scoobynet is obviously full of "muppets" that can only point out others misfortunes and mistakes. And there was me thinking that this was a friendly site with light hearted banter?
This would be why I'm sure so many others worry about posting questions

Scoobyno1, would agree with you re: the above post, however correcting mistakes (of a technical nature) can only lead to improvements in people's understanding and get rid of some of the myths and mis-information that still exists.

My post wasn't aimed at you mate. I'm all for correcting mistakes, I'm used to it as I do it all the time, which is why I corrected mine.
The problem is, if someone ads a question and is then ridiculed because of an error then that won't be improving their technical knowledge as they probably won't bother asking again

It is a friendly site with light hearted banter, but like everywhere in society there are those that feel the need to let the rest of us know how cleaver they are, and how inferior the rest of us mere mortals are.
Got a letter this morning, this is going to be interesting as I think one mine is buggered anyway, bought a couple of second hand ones to replace them as well

Check the wishbones for corrosion , and if they require replacement they will be changed under warranty..
If they ok they are treated with a anti-rust coating and then a wax coating
