Its seems just lately its easier to be a ***** and people let you get away with it ,Not this man sorry.
I was in a small van tony and i can easy go toe to toe with any man on the street especially the arrogant ****** around lately. But most men and i say men dont need to prove them selves.
That's right davey pushed me to far,But for some reason when i stopped he said sorry and said he was acting like a fool thinking that he could just walk in front of oncoming traffic Big mistake.

He may have been an idiot but what you did was not right.

Here's something that annoys me about car Drivers. How many know that a pedestrian crossing a road before they turn onto it has right of way? Happens so often that Drivers just drive like they have right of way in such a situation and the pedestrian has to stop or get run over.

I think you are right tony it wasn't right what i did,Im not tough i didnt say i was tough ? But what i am trying to put across is that there is people men and women who just dont care any more and there is people who back them up and make them worse.
There needs to be a lesson learnt im sure he will never walk in front of traffic again,Where as if i would of bibbed me horn shouted idiot and drove off he would be no wiser what he was doing was also not right,Do you not agree.
As for getting out me van and banging him on the jaw,Now i would get nicked and im far to clever for that,Hitting him in me van he should of learnt his green cross code instead of smoking crack and robbing old It women.

If he wound me up who know's what would happen, Some bloke was doing his hop skip bad man walk in front of me at some traffic lights so i gave him a little nudge with me van wing, soon stopped his arrogant skip hop chip on the shoulder **** .People push other people to the edge and when they crack they cry like pussies its simple .
I was on my bike a year or so back and some "lads" came out of the local and one did the "pimp limp" slowly in front of me, deliberately trying to stop me, I just slowed down, smiled and said "After you mate" all polite, and he was totally flumoxed, he was wanting to show his mates how tough he was and was ready to deal with any of my lip but he just got politeness, pointless little ****e he was, about 19, big Gold Chain like a plastic gangster, as I rode off I said "You look a right **** with that thing round your neck", cue much laughter from his two mates and me scooting off as fast as I could

The secret with that is just to wait and smile, they are after a reaction, why give them one.

Its not like i was doing 10mph turned right and mowed a lad over on the high street now that would put me into the same book as the skip walking idiot..

Looks to me like the bike was provoking the bus. As the video starts the bus seems to be trying to go round but the bike is moving further into the lane.
Bikers can be complete w*nkers and looks like this one provoked the wrong bus driver.
Obviously the bus driver shouldn't have done what he did but I don't think he just randomly drove into the biker.

There was a previous altercation that takes place off that video (but the start of which can be seen elsewhere) and apparently the cyclist flicked the windscreen wipers of the bus (speculation is that the poor road design had the bus squeezing the cyclist rather than waiting).
Obviously such an act warranted that display of assault don't you think?
(just to finish off - what many non cycling drivers fail to realise is that it is recommended to cycle approximately 2-3 ft out from the kerb ( 1/2 to 1m) as it gives you room to move when needed and stops the squeezes from impatient drivers - who generally just get held up a few yards down the road and get passed again anyway)

It is a hard one to put your finger on, no the cyclist didnt deserve that, but then again we are only seeing the consequences of previous actions (which we dont see).
IF the cyclist had been riding selflishly, blocking traffic etc, then the law should do something about it, the bus driver is out of order, yet the swerve before the bus driver "lost it" seemed to be on purpose, there was no indication of changing lanes to other road users, and whilst a cyclist should be given room as Keiran says, the centre of the road is taking the P a little.
Always 2 sides to any story, its just that we only see the incident and not the run up, so really no one can say either party is innocent.

Blimey he certainly took a tumble. That cyclist must of done something off camera that we don't know about.
The court was told Hill, a qualified driver with 10 years' experience, was previously of excellent character and his defence said the collision happened in "a moment of madness".
Now as a bus driver with 10 yrs behind the wheel,he must have to deal with cyclist and such every working day,so why did he snap at this one.

I'm trying hard here to understand why some people are almost defending attempted murder?
No, we don't know what happened before, but what the professional driver did was not exactly self defence!
In any other circumstance we would not be having a similar conversation. It's a good job some of you don't carry guns. I never see Damilola Taylors killers being defended. Maybe Damilola called them a name?!

What could the cyclist have done to deserve a de facto attempt on his life?
Please think before you write.

All IMHO - the cyclist was riding along like a ****, clearly he could have been closer to the pavement, staying safe, and still allowing the bus to pass (as well as the stream of cars behind the bus). The cyclist appears to be behaving like a pillock but what the bus driver then does is clearly insane as he could very easily have killed the cyclist. There is no excuse on this planet for the way the bus driver behaved, the fact the cyclist was being a *** just means he was being a ***... but if we ran over every *** we came across in real life SNet NSR would be deserted .... it's funny to watch the pro bikers support the cyclist and pro drivers the bus driver... wherein reality both were *****, albeit the driver decided to escalate it to attempted murder.

I suppose most of us here at some time have lost control and just snapped over something, and not thought of the consequences.

Obviously, it was totally unaccecptable what the bus driver did ( although he didnt actually attempt to drive over the cyclist-he just knocked him off).
I bet that cyclist will think twice next time he thinks he'll try winding up the vehicle behind!
Shocking to see, though.

Maybe the cyclist thought i'll get this bus driver ticked off,as i know nothing will happen to me,its not like he will even think about running me over is it,he's a bus driver oops.I'm not defending the Bus driver, whatever happened before that short video clip didn't call for the bus to be used as a weapon to possibly kill a person. But a guy who has been driving for 10 yrs+ and every working day is driving a bus in town/city centres etc, must of dealed with things like this numerous times, maybe this one just tipped him over the edge.

I think it was his choice to try and kill the cyclist personally. What do you think?
