Sorry distracted by Katy Perry!!
But I find the older more established members are less willing to change, and accept new people tbqh. As the cars will move onto new people, and the people who buy them has changed.
I find its the same on all car forums, even on some cheaper more mass produced cars.
Just think that there is a snobbery amongst a select few, that they are the original so are somehow "better", and that the higher spec the car is in standard the "better" it is. I mean if someone has a 2.0 Sport, then that not as "good" as a Turbo, but then the WRX isn`t as "good" as the STI. And that each step up looks down on the one below, and aspires to the one above. This isn`t the case, as people preferences are different.
The good thing is that there are still lots of people who have been around a while, but are still helpful to people and don`t openly judge.
Its not so much Scoobynet is full of muppets, but society has changed to become full of muppets.

In defence of the Porsche owners ( I am not one) I think they still hang out here because they have a lot of history on this forum.
I haven't had a Scoob for ages but still hang out here.
Just out of interest is this thread in response to another?

For the avoidance of doubt, I can only afford to have the Porsche as I live in a cardboard box, and the kids go to the Derek Zoolander school for kids who can't learn.
And as Ding says, above.
So jog on, you plebs.

Haha as if you'd kick her out of your bed for that! Most men will be very obliged to get just a tweet from her in their dreams- in all truthfulness.
On the subject, SN is just SN.There will always be the realistic braggers, the bullsh!tters, hand-to-mouth poverty struck criers, and "look at me " attention seeking types knocking about side by side here. At least all of them can post here with no discrimination. This makes Scoobynet a very equal place, really.
