But this isn't training ant.... Its snet the place where Arrogant tools come to troll threads and give no worthy or positive advice. Only adding frustration that nobody can physically shut the keyboard warrior up.
You could have easily have just asked "have you not thought about joining the regular army?" Instead you chose to insult half of the posters that brought relevant and useful feedback for the OP. Is your life lacking so much you have to try and belittle people who were just asking for help? Are you making up for certain shortfalls in your own life?
If you really can't get your head round why someone would join the TA as opposed to the regs, then you are obviously not the wise and clever man you portray yourself to be are you.

LOL we used to crack each other up like that,or was it a crack up
Just go for it you'll learn a lot..They are just as good/trained as the regs.
I was going to try the TA before i joined the regulars, going back a few years ago now.Like some i had the thinking if you're gonna do it then just go all the way
.But can understand when you get older other things happen/commitments,but you still may have that side that would like to try it.I know some who drive trucks as a main job and do the TA.Got a mate in the Signals/and one who is special forces. You can even do the Marines part time, but you still have to go through the Marines training.
Is also a serious part to it btw,you won't be treated with kid gloves during training because you're a TA soldier. If you go on operation you will face the same things as a regular soldier does,it is very serious so you need to think about that also,TA soldiers have been killed in battle.

you would be surprised how many fallen soldiers are TA.my serjeant chris creed was TA and was lost on new years day 3 years ago.was one of the most professional soldiers i have ever met...not a lot of people have it in them to stand up and be counted when the **** hits the fan and thats why i have the utmost respect for anyone that wants to serve queen and country whether full or part time as they are all trained the same when you go on ops.
