If I knew what I know now I wouldn't of gone past 350. My car is obviously quicker now but no more fun. A light classic at circa 350 is awesome fun...
Don't chase a figure, chase an overall package that you love driving.
Likewise mate, my original intention was 350bhp but I got carried away and although it's faster it's no more fun because it's hard to find anywhere to use that power. At least at 350 you can keep a 5 speed.
^^^^ what he said 350 bhp will cost 10k less as you don't need big brakes, fancy fuel set up, forged engine, 6 speed gear box, suspension, bigger wheels, trick ecu, full set of defi's every part in the whiteline brochure and £1000 worth of sundries & all the little bits and bobs that crop up along the way.
300 to 330 in a classic is more than most can handle properly and use in a road car.
