Just Reading Andy's comments on Facebook, That is one bloody quick car
Andy Forrest. The runway is approx 1.6 miles long, so we had 1.2 miles to accel and then 0.4m to get slow enough for the exit bend. Door flew off at 0.5m. That was our warm up run, running 1.3bar boost ie approx 800bhp. Lisa was surprisingly cool!

I was doing 193mph when the outer (GRP) full door skin and perspex window ripped off! leaving an inner frame which is all cut out! so basically an open hole!! Lisa was passenger at the time lol, she was pretty cool about it! I would however have been more impressed if she had just held on to it lol.

Thats taking weight saving to a whole (or should that be hole?) new level, although i cant see it helping the aerodynamics too much!
Andy what events to you plan to attend this year as I would love to come and watch your car in action?
