Outlines per model could be done.
Trouble with a hoodie is the hood would obstruct any rear design.
What about a thin tech fleece? WRC and F1 all have fleeces and not hoodies?

Definately another option, cost will likely be £30+ judging by what sites I've looked at so far.

Today whilst avoiding A13 traffic ( ) , I cut through the A128 to join the A127 .... I saw advertised along there, a company that does embroidery for companies etc.

May be worth contacting them, I have taken their number down, but it is in my van outside ... I'll grab it in a while and update with a phone number.

I think it may be worth sticking with 'Fruit of the Loom' or similar, as most clothing embroidery companies can get them at a good price, and they wear/wash well.

I would rather pay a bit more for a fleece than a hoodie
It not only looks more professional but also portrays a better image for the club

I also like the outline per model idea

I remember that Tiny was able to offer a choice of what you could have on the polo shirt and was priced per embroided item. Maybe worth asking Tiny if he still has contact details

Depends on cost but I would recommend a "soft shell" style jacket. They look really smart and wear better than a fleece.

Subaru use them for their official jackets and can be bought with access panels built in to allow decoration to be added. I've got one and they're really nice.

Think I'm more in favor of the fleece guys with the outlined logo

As the summer is coming up I would focus on the the polo/hoodie and get a final master with options. I personally would order a polo but not a hoodie.
The fleece/soft shell jacket could come later and you would have at least got up and running with the reborn Essex scene

So what I have read are we going to be

Essex Subaru Club

I was thinking more of the window stickers that members might like to order as the season is about to start

Yeah Im feeling the fleece idea, especially if we can get them at 15 quid a unit, plus say another tenner for customised stitching. It states the gsm as 280 wonder how thick this this?

You'll find almost all embroidery companies stock 'Fruit of the Loom' gear, hence why I suggested it, + cost wise, they are not bad

Looks like they will do everything you would need clothing wise they are only based about 1 mile down the A128 from the A127 (towards Grays).

Phone number is : 01277 811670

The also have an online brochure here : http://1ststopdirect.com/brochurelive.htm

Hope this helps

There was a user on here that was able to produce the window decals.
Anyone remember who it was ? (I know Tiny used to order them)

So the general outlay would appear to be fleeces and polo shirts. Without sounding to strict or anything but who wants to take the lead on this or you guys happy with me to do it etc. Id suggest we get a final design on both items so we can get the ball rolling for the show seasons and events this year.

Hi Guys Just like to say good luck with the shirts hoodies and anything else you are going to be doing. Can be a right headache, 1 bit of advice I will give you is get the money first before you order anything, some people (old school) are fine but if you dont really know people it is a good idea, as we have shirts here still that people ordered and didnt bother coming back for.

Sorry we cant give you the details of our lady as she was very good. sadly she passed away a few months ago. .

ESSEX SCOOBY CREW always in our hearts, meet some great people in this club and most are friends for life. <3

Good luck xx

Great to see some new faces breathing life back into the ESC.

I use this company for my work clothing, all embroidered. Very good quality and value. Their own brand polo shirts have lasted incredibly well.
