Aggro wench was always going to get the boot. Lucky that numnuts with the numbers didnt follow her. Just tell them the cost per unit and the RRP and they can calculate the margin themselves.

Is it me or are the candidates complete retards? I mean, if I was going on that program, you know there will be an early doors invent something, why has non of them planned out these tasks in advance rather than turn up and rely on other because I bet thats what they actually have done in the past rather than all these success stories we hear from them.
If theyre that successful wtf are they applying for a 100k a year job with Sugar or now a 250k investment. If your idea is that good you dont need to be on a ****e tv program to make it in life.
Cant help but think anybody with no business experience but lots of life experience and common sense would walk through that program blind folded.

All that said, regardless of how badly they pitched and did their costings, their product was sh*t and was therefore destined for failure, imo.

I agree. I don't understand how they struggled so much with the figures, and I am sh*t with that sort of thing. Give a price and RRP, offer a discount on larger orders (as the aim of the task is to get the largest orders possible) so long as the discounted price is still higher than their production costs. It's not rocket science.

PM on the boys side was useless. Stopping the inventor who had the most passion for the product from speaking in the pitches. How stupid is that. And then at the meal at the Ivy banging on about how good he was. Muppet

Yes, but at least the PM on the boys side stood his ground. That dude that came up with the washing up gloves idea, lied about the "market research" for those gloves and really tried to push for his idea instead; said the PM was crap etc, then when they won the task was all congratulatory and back patting, the two faced ****. The PM is still a muppet though with his "winning" speech.

I thought both the boys products were crap. I don’t think it was just the glove idea chap pushing it and it always hard to tell exactly what happened with the market research as we only see the edited version. They were right that the PM had already decided on the bin before they even went for the market research – that was what annoyed them the most.

Lol yep your right – I said to the mrs it doesn’t even cover the length of the bath. In the demo it didn’t look like it even stayed in place, water still got on the floor and the comment about kids using the pens to draw all over the bathtub, tiles etc was spot on. That said Amazon did order 7,500 so if their costings had been better they might have got a bit more. The tap cosy idea was far better.

"I think I'd rather just buy a sponge"
Pretty much destroyed that lads super duper marigolds idea.
How utterly stupid was that million unit comment - how the f*ck she can blame someone else (wrong figures or not) is beyond me. Wouldn't you think to check?

I am astounded that these have been hand picked from the cream of British business brilliance - and they still strugle with the basics
There will be a buying task, where the muppets will tell the supplier exactly what they have to buy and at what price - is this not like showing your hand to your dealer!!

So Katie Wright got fired this week, but I have to say in the Apprentice: Your Fired show, she scrubbed up pretty nicely!! That Adam was a complete muppet and I just want to punch that fish faced Stephen in the face!!
