Mark on here (RB5_286) has supplied number plate stickers in the past. He can do them properly too i.e. reflective backing and not just a white sticker.

I use a place called 4455-group on ebay for stick on plates, had it made at 75% size too so it fits the height of the bumper better .... sure the rozzers eyes arent calibrated enough to see the difference between 100% and 75% .... surely!

theyre a £tenner with postage.

before

after

Personally I would be taking it pretty steady without a remap!

Well I definitely wana upgrade the fuel pump b4 gettin it re mapped but ideally would like 2 fit a oil cooler as well though I don't really know where 2 put the oil cooler. There's no room at the front plus the intercooler pipes block where the top mount sat.that's the only reason 4 the delay on gettin it mapped guys.

Fuel pump is prob wise prior to a re-map, as you don't want it to be the limiting factor. But although a good idea, you do not need an oil cooler before it is mapped.

Over the years I am aware of many scoobs that have had engine failures due to having mods, but then not have the car mapped to suit them. Compared to a wrecked engine, it is a small price, plus it allows you to get the best out of what you have.

And if done well they can be very reliable, my first scoob, a UK2000, was modded and mapped to 265 / 295 back in 2004/5 and is still going strong in to this day.
