Ok then that makes a lot of sense I had it on a Dyno in December its running 284.8. It's got td05 decat pipe kakimoto centre section n rear box and had a pipercross panel filter. That was at 0.9 boost as well. So who recommends where 2 get mapped? I'm in Chelmsford so don't wana go 2 far.

From personal experience I would suggest either Simon Roe - Jolly Green Monster or Duncan Graham - Dynamix. Both will travel to Essex, Simon is based in Kent, Duncan was Cambridge.
Regarding cost and ecu issues, best give them a call and discuss it with them.

No, have always had it done on the road. Apart from the speed / traffic issues, that is the best place, as you map the car to the exact conditions it usually see's.

Only ever put the car on the rollers to measure the final result, and in truth some times it's better not to know.

Mapping to the red line in 6th is interesting!!!!!

I'm interested to see how your results turn out. I have a 95' WRX too and heard and read so many different things mostly saying about how risky it is upping the power on the early pre-facelift cars.

O really have u done much 2 yours? Tbh once iv fitted the fuel pump n re-mapped it the only thing I may consider is an equal length manifold that should do me performance wise its de-cated Japanese centre and rear box and td05 and pipercross panel filter and was puttin out 284.8 b4 fitting the front mount I'd also like 2 fit a oil cooler. That was what perfect touch suggested 2 me but they also told me what a stable engine it was so I don't want 2 go silly power.

Yes, if genuinely equal, but you then get a fantastic sound at higher rpm.

Also more bhp, but more importantly loads more torque.

Assuming that you have it mapped correctly once fitted.

Not really tbh, I have facelifted the front which people seem to like or hate. Can always change it back if feeling like going retro. Bought a newage topmount that needs to be fitted, car is really set up by the previous owner just waiting to be mapped tbh. But we shall see i find it more than fast enough and want it to last rather than getting another 20 brake out and risking the engine or gearbox or engine+gearbox.

Yeah cheers Andy hope it should jus b a nice increase wongy.
All sounds good tho essexdon I know what u mean about not wanting any thing 2 go bang. But I got told its wen u start upping boost 2 about 1.2bar is wen u need 2 change engine internals. I recently git a face lift front end but don't think I'm gona fit it now prob stick it on eBay ur right it really is love or hate decision!
