LOL, exactly the same thing, I used dental floss to cut the badges of the backing, then the wife's hair drier followed by AG aggressive tar remover and a tone of elbow grease. Then got the DA out with a little Megs Scratch X 2.0 and 5 minutes later it was looking mint.

Well worth the effort but I could have stuck two coats of wax on the car in the same time it took to do it.

Yeah, I can not see the reasoning for the fog in the bumper. There is surely a better place for it.

De-badged my Hawkeye and then moved the STI over to the right just to equal things up a bit..
