Rob mate, what clearance have you got on the splitter, as ive got my new 18's on but already down to 5.5" clearance only, i would like to lower it another 30mm ish but that would leave me very low indeed, and would poss be a pain in the ar$e to drive around, speed bumps etc

prob is my new tyres are 35 profile (17's were 40's) didnt account for that - Doh!

The P1 is a worthy replacement, but not for me I'm afraid.... The day I need to buy a car and keep it at strictly low miles, keep it in concours condition, keep relatively Standard and keep the car garaged every night and only see day light when its warm and dry I'll consider a good old rare classic example, but until that day its just not for me. Its hard enough holding onto a Rare le'mans car in storage without one that I want to run when ever I feel like it rain or shine

The old girl is doing good, should be transformed further next week, or the week after subject to time and work.

The mrs is just giving her car a good old clean, so ive parked mine up side of it and bought her some Flowers

Rob

I think you may regret that photo, and I very much doubt your car will get a clean!!!

The p1 is not garaged, fairly standard 345 bhp but not used as daily driver, it does about 6k a year, I just fancied a change and this came up! Totally different to drive to the sti, less refined, but more raw! I have always had an inch for a p1 too!!!

Less than 5"s lmao oh wait a min, that means im screwed

just double checked mine.. 14cm clearance, if i lower it 30mm means i am on 11cm clearance thats lower than yours is now... $hit!!!

The only other option is to buy some new rubber 40's or 45's poss that would reduce the gap at between tyre and arch and raise the splitter slightly, only problem is i dont understand how it would affect the handling and looks frickin scoobies

Oh regarding gettin ur missis to clean her car for a fivers worth of asda flowers lmao

My missis has owned her 206 for 8 years, and has only cleaned it out half a doz. times... it i tried to bribe her with anything less than 20 quids worth she would bend me over and shove them where the sun dont shine

Best of luck Dave if your going anywhere lower than what mine is currently. When travelling through a local town, rather than just parking up then driving out I now need to be strategic, so consider the 4 now known areas the bottom the car and in some cases I Uturn to avoid them. It's far from ideal, but then I don't go often and I'm not on my own. A local Esige does the same, and I've seen a Tommie Mac get grounded too.

John ref the plates, pm me please, it's too much hassle for me posting this topic on here

Cheers Andy, John the previous owner also cared well for the car too, so it's never a huge choir to clean. I'm a minimalistic type of guy, and I've a small element of OCD lol.

Addition delivered today

RCM cone and K&N filter

Just been to collect a parcel from my local post office

I parked near a Local car, there's quite a difference in ride height.

The blue one is an immaculate example too, lady driver also.

Bad pictures due to sun bouncing back

Looking at both AF and SC website, it does look like SC 20g

Not sure on spec yet of it but it should be billeted

I'm going to scrutinise it tomorrow.

Martin's stencils are done btw.
