Without a shadow of doubt the worst film ever has to be-Attack the block! How on earth that made it into the cinemas I will never know.

I watched that the other day, the fact they tried to convince you at the start that the footage was real FFS.

Oh, and the worst film I have seen that I can remember is "courageous". I had to watch it through just to see f it could get ANY worse, and it does.

I loved that film - the first 10 mins were like... 'I don't think I can sit thru this - they are annoying me already', but it actually turned into a great film I thought for a low rent British Flick...

Liked District 9 too - very thought provoking....

I'm not winning you over here am I.....?LOL

Your all wrong, the worst film ever has to be Catwoman with Halle Berry, if there ever was a film that could induce a coma or put you into a vegetative state, this is it.

Awful tripe and I think they are getting primed for a series
If this is all true, then how comes the reviews have been pretty positive overall?

I hope you are wrong because I love the books and really look forward to seeing this

The Tenanbaums, my wife to be put it on after some persuasion a couple of years back. Within 15 minutes it had been removed from the DVD player and destroyed along with the case. It belonged to her mum

I have to agree district 9 was pretty poor as was inglorious b@stards. The worst film I've ever watched was one with Jude law, nicole Kidman and renee zellwegger in. I can't remeber the name if it but he was a soldier and the other two were bloody annoying. Come to think of it anything with Jude law in is pants.

Spoke to some guys in the office today

They both said it is a BRILLIANT movie, one of them has actually seen it twice

Have you read the books, and therefore really understand the plot??

Anyway it never fails to amaze me how different people can have such opposite reactions to certain movies

Of course people have different opinions Martin.
Have a read of some of the reviews at IMDb
Go and see it , but make sure you are right at the back of the cinema , to minimise the camera shake !

Can only assume those that didn't like District 9 aren't that "in to" sci fi?

It was probably the best Sci Fi film of the 2000s.

If we are going for worst ever I think Space Truckers and Tank Girl for me are up at the top. Didn't get to the end of either.

So, is no one going to mention "The Human Centipede"?

(btw - I quite liked Troll Hunter. It was kind of home made gritty without being too bloody Blarebitchbollocks)

Went and seen this today and it was 2 and a bit hours I'll never get back. I only went to see it because it was in the papers that it was breaking box office records over in the US. Had never heard of it until then.

Agree with the original poster on all his points, thought exactly the same, completely pointless storyline and was left wondering what the ****. So predictable too.

Don't go and see guys, not even worth a DVD watch to be fair.

I stumbled on the sy-fy channel few months back when "megashark vs supercroc" was on, absolutely hilariously bad!!!!

The dorsal fin was taller than an aircraft carrier / battleship, it then leaped over said ship and wacked it with it's tail blowing it up.

Was so funny (terrible) I think I ended up watching it all

I thought Music and Lyrics with Hugh and Drew was the worst film I ever watched. It was so boring and that I fell asleep half way through.

Seem to recall there is some excellent dialog in that one (or a very similar super-shark film from syfy) along the lines of:

"I think the shark...<pause for three seconds>...just went nuclear"

Later in the film they are in an helicopter and a couple of them are bickering, someone shouts "look, the shark!" which has jumped who knows how high and attacks the chopper.

So bad it's good

My vote for one of the worst films has to be Gerry. Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, in the desert, walking, very minimal dialog.
