I do get a bit of piston slap untill it warms up why is this do standard sti engines do this or is it when forged?? it has had a rebuild recent but the guy didt have proof i just took his word and to be honest he didt really no what was done to the inside of engine.. once warm its really quiet.

Iv taken the tmic off today as im putting a fmic on next week and noticed slight oil on the inside, is it a big job blank the pvc valve any "how to guides" on here, no great loss in oil iv done about 1000 miles and its prob dropped 1mm on the dipstick.

Are the breathers people are on about the 1's on top of the engine that go to the heads? is there any hidden pipes.

Thanks a lot for the help guys iv brought myself a tool kit and am going try tackle what i can myself as i just end up going round in circles with my local garages also save a few £££.

Defo blanc PCV & fit catch can it takes about an hour & is dead easy follow the guides on here like I did. The oil is building up in your intercooler & sometimes on start up it sucks it into the combustion chamber.
