if you have only driven a wrx, you would find the non turbo nowhere nears as good a drive and slightly underpowered.
you have had a lucky escape i think.
i have always liked lexus like the one you selling, what bhp are they? and am i correct in thinking they are rear wheel drive?

160bhp and RWD... turbo and supercharger kits available for them for a couple of grand which completely transform them. They are already pokey, but the kits make them fast.
I agree, in retrospect a very lucky escape!

what do you get mpg wise, as the biggest shock you will get with an impreza is how crap they are on fuel.
only downside to ownership really.

As mentioned, a blessing in disguise. Although suitable for some people, a non turbo Impreza doesn't push many of the right buttons.
Lexus looks nice. Did you change the dash? I always liked the SWiss watch style instrument lcuster in them, although it looks like it could be annoying at times.

Yeah I changed out the cluster for a Spa Dashkit2. This was done for no other reason that no-one else had it, and I like to be unique (where possible!).
The Spa Dash cost a bomb, but I don't regret doing it at all - I love it

I had an IS200 for a couple of years, and there is no way i'd swap one for a non turbo scoob in a million years, you would have regretted that move big time.
I loved my IS200 they are a cracking car and i'd have another, cruising across germany at 140mph it was sublime, did sup some fuel though once it got above the ton.

Fancy following me around the net and telling people how good they are to help me sell?!
I'm beginning to think I should just strip the mods, sell them separately and then sell the base car for cheap....
