a bit of a generalisation there i think
1 i'm not old
2 i had to sell my car because of back /leg and arm problems and that was a newage so what does that say about me?
3 people make decisions whether they want newage/classics on individual reasons.i owned both and preferred the newage by far where as some people just keep spending money on cars that just aren't worth it

2 your not Tyrone.
3 you don`t wear polyester tousers and aren`t Tyrone lol.
Basically as long as your not Tyrone then your ok.
The Classic is raw and much more basic, a newage is more a modern car, with the feel and build of a modern car. They are totally different cars with the same badge.

Who's to know the post is about ty though jim? Bit of a thoughtless post if you ask me.
Please please let's not start yet another classic v newage thread, we all choose our cars for different reasons, but love them all the same.
One post can upset a lot of people, including me,and I own a classic.
Nuff said.

Well if you go from post 51 on. And you can read from my first post in here I`ve been taking the mickey, and messing around.
Who was it that started the classic bashing?? Mr Ty hence the reply.
And surely by now people who read my posts when replying to Ty, that they shouldn`t be taken too seriously.

Another 'classic' post by him I believe, I strongly suspect that his posts are driven by the green eyed monster.

I would have thought after a recent post by yourself about another members car and the backlash you got from it you'd have had the good sense to learn from it; obviously not.
If you are going to refer to me then at least have the common courtesy to spell my name correctly.

As for Oz I apologise if you read that as being about you, it wasn`t. I loved your car as you didn`t make it out to be something special, when it was something to behold. You didn`t harp on about how it was better than everyone elses like a certain pratt does, and make everyone else feel inferior when there is no need.
I actually did say in this thread it was awesome, and you replied about it.
I am not backwards in saying about things I like and things I don`t. But one person cant have a different opinion about something without the womens institute throwing their toys out of the pram if they don`t agree, lead by their leader in polyester trousers.

Personal insults again the order of the day? You really are amazing, and not in a good way either.
I won't take to throwing insults at you and your car as I could be here a very long time, plus the fact that you are an annoyance rather than a problem to me.
Now carry on digging that hole for yourself, and learn that by trying to put the emphasis on me rather than yourself you make yourself look like an even bigger fool.
Carry on posting if you really feel the need to try and embarrass me any further, and here's a hint for you it isn't working.

Interesting thread to read through and hopefully the newbie will not assume that everyone speaks at the same blunt and rude speak my mind level shall we call it.
Firstly welcome to the new face out there
There's are a lot of cars to choose from for sure, everyone on this section or on the forum has gone through the same decision trust me and some numerous times in different directions, the starting point to me is firstly what's the use going to be daily or weekend, then do you want to start modding it or would you prefer something all done. What your using it for may help with you direction of going down the new age or classic route. As I think Ian said the new meet is in May your welcome to call along have a look at the cars sit in them see what you think. There are plenty for sale and it's worth doing the research first to make sure you get a plan in your mind so when you find one it's the one you really want first time around. There are some good really helpfully people on here that will try to answer and assist with any questions you have so please feel free to ask anytime but just remember we like spending other peoples money

There is no room in here for sniping at people even if by calling it humour, if you have issue with that then to bad but I will ask the moderating team to have a read through and form their own opinion without my influence to see how they feel.

There is a line between speaking your mind and then baiting for personal reactions the latter is something that I will be keeping my eye on from now.
