Glad its all sorted and everyone's happy.
Might be worth while once the refund has gone through and masterx81 is happy seeing if this thread can be deleted as its not the best thing to have pop up next to your name.
I've had a few bad dealings with courier companies on big or expensive items and can make you look like a right c**t sometimes!

Cheers guys, yeah i will once Masterx81 is happy that things have been sorted.
Bl00dy courier services can be very unreliable, and that time they are unreliable they can then be a real pain in the @ss to get to play ball!
Thanks once again Masterx81 for your patience and understanding

As said on ebay contact, i'm really sorry to have spread this big 'dust cloud', but after months of intermittent contacts i was quite impatient to get it sorted (and i was 'wrongly sure' that the bonnet in the auction was my bonnet...).
Still sorry!!!

Here in italy there is a 'common saying', 'spread a big dust cloud' (alzare un polverone), it means that is a 'big mess'...
I'm searching a facelift one, and for now i'm in contact with another seller here on scoobynet... I'm waiting a quote for the shipment (for sure, insured and not parcel force...)
The real problem is the shipment, a bonnet is quite big...

Interesting thread. Have had exactly the same problem with this seller on ebay and having paid for the bonnet all communication was lost.
Bit of a coincidence that it has happened twice????

Hey guys,
Master (he isn't my master lol) has just had a pm from me, frankly I'm fed up big style with parcelforce and trying to get this refund from them!
Anybody who has dealt with parcelforces claims procedure ail totally agrees with me in saying that they suck!
I received my postal cheque yesterday from them and have banked I so master shall have his refund paypalled across once funds have cleared in my account.
With regards to the buyer on eBay, you reused to pay the additional postage costs to Ireland, and paid immediately with my uk postage costs.
Upon sending you an invoice with the correct postage on, you opened a case with eBay and I issued you with a full refund thru PayPal/eBay.
Consequently I still have a mint alloy bonnet in my garage!
Once master has been refunded i'll be glad for his to all be over!
And as a pointer I suggest people who don't agree with my experience, to google sending items to Italy. You'll see that many big ebay sellers refuse to send to Italy due to do many parcels being lost, stolen or scammed etc!
Anyways master I'll pm you once I have sent refund, should be Tuesday/Wednesday once cheque has cleared.
Cheers

Why not just refund him straight away, you know that it has been refused delivery anyway so that's clear, as a seller it's your responsibility so just pay up.
If you couldn't send a big bonnet to Italy then why did you accept his money??? You sould of done your homework prior to sale.
