Not too much to laugh about mate. There shouldnt have ben any problems posting bonnet to me in UK and there was no word of a refund for the 'gift payment' i sent for the additional postage costs to NI.

If you are having tjhis amount of difficulty arranging postage suggest you sell items as collection only.

Anybody who has dealt with parcelforces claims procedure ail totally agrees with me in saying that they suck!
I received my postal cheque yesterday from them and have banked I so master shall have his refund paypalled across once funds have cleared in my account.

With regards to the buyer on eBay, you reused to pay the additional postage costs to Ireland, and paid immediately with my uk postage costs.
Upon sending you an invoice with the correct postage on, you opened a case with eBay and I issued you with a full refund thru PayPal/eBay.
Consequently I still have a mint alloy bonnet in my garage!

Once master has been refunded i'll be glad for his to all be over!

And as a pointer I suggest people who don't agree with my experience, to google sending items to Italy. You'll see that many big ebay sellers refuse to send to Italy due to do many parcels being lost, stolen or scammed etc!

Anyways master I'll pm you once I have sent refund, should be Tuesday/Wednesday once cheque has cleared.

Cheers

'Gift payment' how many times does this have to come up and how many time will it take for people to realise it is not a 'gift'. The seller knows from the outset that PP will be a factor in the price and will take their cut - it is as simple as that.

FFS - if a seller asks for payment via the gift route then alarm bells should ring, this has been going on since the dawn of time!

PM received, seem all ok...

And, in any case, seem that i can't have an alloy bonnet for my subby.... Still searching it, and now i'm a bit worried to get one in uk
Always done a lot of deals in uk (also with people in this forum) and i've never had throubles (apart a set of heads that the couriers have lost, but my bad that shipping wasn't recognized as insured as the courier have not leaved the receipt at the person of the collection).
Maybe one day i come directly in uk for a vacatin, and i take one directly leaving out any shipment

Does this kind of thing happen regularly on scoobynet ?
This is the second thread I have read today about people getting scammed. I personally would rather travel to collect goods for cash. Obviously in this case that wouldn't be possible the buyer being in Italy.

I agree with what has been said above. spOOks you as the seller have the responsibility to refund this poor guy regardless of the status of you refund front parcelforce. If you can't afford to refund him the cost of a bonnet what the hell are you doing driving an impreza.

Sorry but this chap should be refunded immediately. Waiting for the cheque to clear is not his problem, it's YOURS.

I normally advise buyers to accept the fees on paypal or send as a gift to avoid charges. Its just a trust thing.

I have noticed a lot of uneasy transactions recently. Recession must be kicking in hard!

A selective scammer then is the word,

Try and get away with it until he's backed in a corner just like the op after six months and only now he's got a cheque from courier after this post.
Guaranteed he would of got away with it if the op hadn't said owt on here as he was ignoring pm's until op linked this thread to him.
The excuses dosent fly with my eagle eyes I'm afraid.

I've not tryied on bbscoobys, but i've already found it on another forum (not remember what), contacted him some time ago on that site, got little contact then disappeared, Then ive found it also on ebay, opened this thread here on scoobynet and got some contact (via ebay and here, both via pm and via this thread). Now it's the same... Disappeared... I need to follow him on all forums over the net???
Seemed that it was on the 'right side', and that wasn't his fault on the delay (as per contacts in this thread), but now i'm not sure...

I wouldn't hold your breath on getting that refund tbh.

Any responsible seller would have refunded your money once it had been confirmed that the bonnet had not been delivered.
If the seller had any intention of refunding you, surely he would have done it by now.
One year really is taking the biscuit.

I sold something on eBay which got lost and had to refund the buyer and claim my money back off Royal Mail.
This guy should have done the same, as mentioned above, waiting for the check from ParcelForce is not your problem.

And other time has gone, and i've still not got contact from him.
I can't do much to get back my moneys. I will try to advise on all the forums that he use (he always use the sp00ks nick) that he is fraudolent, to be aware to not make deals with him...
220gbp flown away....

Still not sorted?
This in my book is a proper pi$$take.
Is there no one anywhere near this guy can go and have a word?
