Mentioned it before on one of your threads but exact same happened to my old man.
He was already at the hospital and had been there a few hours before they sent him home. Found out a few days later in one of the newspapers the surgeon had gone down to the south coast to operate on some lad who had jumped off a pier into shallow water pissed.
Its probably the same surgeon doing yours who did my old mans.
Just hope he doesnt go on holiday skiing again and injure him self putting the op back even further.

I would say that someone with a badly broken leg is an emergency anyway.
