Probably be alright if they made it feel nice quality. You can just see in the pics it'll feel like a kids toy, all light and flimsy. Too big also, it's still a phone FFS not a tablet. Then they've just got to work on the operating system and menus so it doesn't leave you frustrated and snarled up with 'multi tasking'

Looks ten years old already. The chrome surround around the camera, looks like the one of the first camera phone's I had lol.

It'll be a shame if apple do feel the need to increase the size of the iphone

This makes perfect sense, I was wondering why a friends S3 seemed slow compared to my iPhone. How could that be, bigger numbers are better right?

Have a more informative article:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/06...mobile_launch/

Note this sentence:

The San Diego runs on Gingerbread, and timing issues meant that Intel couldn’t hold off for Ice Cream Sandwich
Gingerbread is kernel 2.6.35, ICS is kernel 3.0.8.

Well done the deal through t-mobile, unlocked white GS3 kept my present plan 900min/500txt/3gb data (£26 with the recent price rise) and got the Phone for £60, should have it delivered tomorrow.
So my desire buttons can have a rest! back buttons been playing up recently and woeful ram keeps running out.

Is the Galaxy S3 computer related? Bit odd that it's immune from the Mod's Move button, perhaps it needs a faster processor and better screen.

I was all up for getting an S2 when they came out, I very nearly pre-ordered one but i'm glad I went into the store instead, they are HUGE! I came to the exact same conclusion as you and got an iPhone instead, must say, I rather like it too!

I like to have a new handset when my contract runs out (need to be up to date with Tech due to my job role) and I like to send my old phone off to fonebank, I always use that as a way of subsidising the rrp/monthly cost of the new one. You can still get £200+ back for an iPhone 4 this way too!

Will sell my iPhone this way when I upgrade to the next iPhone, I know prices aren't as good but eBay is full of scammers these days so not worth while risking it.

So what is it that makes the iPhone and Apple computer related, but anything running Android non computer related. Seems to me it's just the moderators choice and I guess they all love Google.

Remind me again what you do that makes it so versatile? Download ringtones I suppose?

I stopped doing that when I was 14

No demand if it was the blue one you ordered, there isn't any due to Samsung ******* up the colours on them so they recalled them the day before they were released. I'll admit to not being keen on the I-phone myself but you'd never see them recalling all there phones the day before release and leaving people who have to sell these phones in the ****e.

no they just release the phones with flawed designs / hardware out to the fanboys who buy it anyway and say there isnt a problem even though apple forums are full of complaints.

On my Desire HD I just go to SMS messages, press menu, then backup sms. Can either do it to SD card or e-mail it. Should just be able to import it on new phone then.

Just had my "early upgrade" through on O2.

The buggers won't move on price, so will have to wait till it expires

Quick question then, how do people "carry" there phone's around ? I dont nomally wear a jacket, I would'nt put a phone in a back pocket, and i'm not going to put it in a front pocket one which has keys and the other a wallet. Any other suggestions?
