in regard to strut replacement, make sure you get the correct ones as yours is a widetrack sti and has a 114 pcd the earlier ones are 100 pcd.
if you get a drivers side rear cluster the foglight bulb and holder will be there so it will be a simple job to wire it in and you will be able to bin the one hanging off the bumper.
the front lights look uk spec non hid ones to me. but its a simple job to detango them.

I always look for 04+/05+ Parts as pre04 models had a different PCD 5x100 yours is 5x114 and I know the suspension is different on our models, I would speak to a trader on here mate and see what they recommend.

They seem like HID on full beam. I was just going to replace the O/S/R reversing bulb with a red LED and wire it into the existing fog light cable. Then, as you say, I can get rid of that nasty hanging bracket.

Yeah I'll have a word with a trader here as I'm a bit out of touch with Scoobys.

The price was ammended to take all of this into account. Which I think was a fair deal.

Do the rear "round" lights light up with the stalk & the brake lights as the "square" lights? This is another indicator of JDM as the UK cars are the opposite way round ...

Just looked. The round lights light up on the stalk and the brake lights are square. If that makes sense.

yes they are jdm lights, but as said before uk spec are the same apart from the blank empty space in your drivers side jdm one will have a bulbholder for a foglight so if you buy one of these you can change it as its a direct fit and bin that ugly under bumper foglight.

Sorry I'm with you now. That may be worth looking into as opposed to just using the reversing light. Thanks for that.

That's a lovely car. I do really like them in white. What do you have now? Whatever it is would surely be a step down from that beast! lol

Thanks for that mate. I do have one question though. I'm going to replace the rear struts at some point with OE ones. Are these the correct ones I'm after: http://www.camskill.co.uk/m10b0s2730..._02_on_WRX_STi

Many thanks[/QUOTE]
I think it's the 03on the ones you need
But looking on camskill they only do them as a set for some strange reason

My my05 jdm had uk lights fitted when I bought it, but I looked through the receipts and the previous owner had a lot of expensive issues with the lights with new ballasts and bulbs, then a receipt for replacing the lights and altering the wiring to suit, I presume he got fed up when something went wrong again and took the cheaper option of changing the lights, I got some jdm lights and changed them back but cost about £500 for the pair. I may regret it though now as have my mot next month and not sure where I stand. Have sold my uk lights so could have problems. Has anyone got a jdm through mot yet this year. But nice car I wouldn't be surprised if it is about 330-340 bhp with exhaust and map.
You also seem to be missing the jdm mats, they are blue and a better quality than the uk ones even has a section over the tunnel in the back.

Also for the fog light mine appears to have the jdm cluster drilled to fit a bulb holder in the offside light works fine and I also have tail lights in round section and brake lights in square think it looks better myself. They are a good spec car and seem to hold good money compared to uk cars, just remember to change oil every 6 months not 12 as uk ones.

I'm after a set as I only change shocks as pairs. Just wanted to be sure they were the correct ones. Thanks

Sounds naughty . Never been a fan myself, but no doubting the heritage.

Well after next week we'll know the answer. I'm not after big BHP as this is a daily drive and I've done the power struggle thing before. I'd like 320-330 with similiar torque. Just curious as to the power output now.

The lights I am happy with. Whatever the reason for changing the headlights I am happy with. Just want rid of that horrid fog light!!! lol
