Do these sound normal ?
the flies up to 21 - the engine would stop like you lifted off the throttle at 21:1AFR there I would assume thats a duff reading.. where is sensor mounted? what make of wideband?

The reading of 21 is when I completely lift off throttle Simon. The gauge drops to about 11 and then quickly jumps to 21.
I'm using this gauge with Wideband sensor in the downpipe...

What readings would you like to see Simon on a car running 20% meth ?

Mine drops to 22:1 on the PSI3 when I lift off in gear, not sure for how long though.

The lean on overrun is normal, there is no air or fuel going through the engine.

12:1 on 20% meth assuming it was deliberately mapped to that

Simon, would the car run slightly leaner on the open road as opposed to the Dyno where the mapping was done, for instance when subjected to colder damp air?

I'd be interested to know more about this. My car was mapped on dyno with less than perfect conditions. Temps were very high due to a pathetic fan.

If the Wideband is the same, would you expect leaner readings out on the road ?
What variables are you referring to Simon ?

the car appears to run leaner on my AEM with Bosch LSU 4.2 wideband probe set in the top of the downpipe than on the RR printout which presumably would have been from a probe set in the tailpipe. The printout shows 11.5-11.7 at 5600-6000 but my guage is 11.8-12.00's. There is no cel light activity from my simtek.

variables such as different widebands - no two will read identical, location of sensor as trev mentions, whether the ecu has been setup to adjust fuelling on air temp, whether the ecu is map or maf based.. the setup will also have an effect, on the afr it is mapped to etc
