See this starts at 11am. As cars on stands are we required to be there earlier?

Hi people just wondering how come this event seems to have more members names down than the Jap show but seems to be a much smaller event with far less going on.

Is it because it's in Essex? Have you guys been there done it with Santa Pod? There was not much interest in Allen's event from the start and it's always good for feedback

Personally for me I've far more interest in a wider array of cars than all the jap cr@p at jap show. I'm not interested in civics, 200sx's and all that other JDM drifting stuff.
Also this is local and I imagine to be a far more cleaner cut afair with real cars without all the sticky back plastic, neon illuminated rubbish.

When is the lastest you can put your name down to be on the stand? It was really disappointing to not be on a esc stand at jap show. Seeing cars up there has made me realise how many great cars we have in our club

It's buried deep in Looie's first post mate. We usually get there for 10.30am-10.45am. Meeting place for us like last year, will be at Hatfield Heath (just around the corner to the show) at around 10.00am. Then roll in together. I'll try & keep up.

Cheers Mark.
If my cars clean I don't want any mud slung off those old nobbly tyres, so I'll be following carefully behind

I'll come along to this if there is space, looks like a good day out. Although my car may let the side down with mods at the moment, the bonus of it being so high though is I wont damage anything!

After missing the Japshow yesterday, I think I will have to make this one.

Are there many classic cars there? Was disappointed there were hardly any at duxford this year.

Grabbed the list from the previous page:

1. Looie
2. SirFozz
3. Hotpants (T31 WRC)
4. Frayz
5. Kin Quick
5.3 Stu
6. Beatfreak
7. Flat Eric & Flat Eric's Babe (In the "High Rider")
8. Knotty

It's nothing like jap fest etc, it's a small village green meet with cars ranging from American muscle, mark one escorts, e type jags and us in the scoobs. Great to see all the classic cars dusted down and rolled out. There was even a bright yellow xj220 there last year.
Just hope the weather is fine as that will really make it or break it, I suspect a lot of the cars that intend to go wont if it rains, concours ac cobras don't like wet.

We should arrive around the 10.30am point, they are staggering the arrival of the clubs to make it work, could be a bit M25 otherrwise!!

We meet at Hatfield Heath (just up the road) as it's an easy location for all to get to from the various directions everyone is coming from........

We should be OK for more names even at the last minute as it looks like we won't have a full list as it is.

The size my flaps are you'll be fine mate.

Few classics from last year :-

Even big curbed wheels need bigger brakes. Can you spot the "Larry"?

Let's hope the weather was like last year - warm & sunny.... if it carries on like the present weather, it might be a bit damp underfoot!

Just to remind everyone..... All meet up at Hatfield Heath 10.00-10.15am Sunday to all leave together at 10.20am.

Only takes a few min's to get there, but we all need to arrive together so we get unrestricted access to our allocated area.
